Detailed my buddies massive Icon equipped LE on 35's. I did an exterior decontamination/claybar & then a coat of AMMO skin defense & some light spray wax on top. Such a sick truck. Much rub, much big, me like.

Surface contaminants are SILENT KILLERS. REMOVE THEM ALL!!!

Installed some shiny things in the bumper.

My wife was out of town, so I spent the weekend in the garage, tore into the truck, cut some holes, and installed Rigid Industries Dually Flush mount lights as auxiliary reverse lights. Will have to take some proper pics at some point.

How do you like the GG light bar? Bright enough?

So far it has been awesome! I've never felt like i needed more light, but I also have a few Rigid dually pods.

I got the G3 series bar (Black Friday Sale last year), but GG has even brighter LED bars now. Also the lifetime warranty is nice if something ever happened.

I'd say it was definitely worth it for the price!

Finally got to go on a mini adventure up in Tahoe and met up with a friend who also owns a 5th gen.

Anyone have any recommendations on where to take kids sledding or mild trials to nice views in the Lake Tahoe area?

Started mocking up a CB antenna bracket off the roof bar tie-down bolt. Then installed a TRD skid plate and front shackle. Not a bad afternoon.

Coming from a guy who has yet to get a good SWR reading on his CB (you may not want to listen to me)....

....have you considered flipping that mount over so that the base sits a little lower and installing one of those fold down mounts?

That way you could get a longer antenna and not have it erect all the time.

(I'll also be interested to know how good of an SWR reading you get and where you ground.)

I did not although I do recall seeing that thread as well. I would say it's worth doing. Mine rubs enough to certainly apply pressure to the grill and it appears to be digging in a little bit - when I have a few daylight hours in the coming weeks I will open it all back up and see if i can't figure it out, but I spent a good 30 minutes mounting and remounting (remounted probably 3 times on each side) to try and get everything set as far back as possible to no avail.

Let me know if you're able to install cleanly and I'll be motivated to revisit it!

Very glad I didn't go the plastidip route

The only one I didn't do was the front Toyota logo. It made it look from a distance like the logo was missing, and the chrome kind of matches the headlights anyway.

This is the only photo I took of the driver's side bracket, you can kind of see how it mounts. If you watch the Rago video first, they'll show you where to cut the plastic wind fairings so the mounts slide in over the bolts - because of their design, flipping them won't work. Let me know how it goes!

The two bolts on the outside of the bracket (away from the light bar) are the bolts that secure the bracket.

Um, no, it does not. PD has a texture, looks repainted, attracts dust/dirt/rag fuzz, and does not hold up well over time and pressure washing. I know.... and I wouldn't do it again.
