What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Used my 5th gen to pick up my new to me Baja Taco. After driving a couple of 3rd gen Tacos I decided that I still like the old 2nd gens far better so after a few months searching I found this little guy with 23,XXX miles on it. Any way tomorrow the Nfabs come off and I will start the mod process :bluejump:!

I cannot believe how much snow you guys are getting this year, all I wanted to do was go over and ski when I lived on Oahu. Maybe I'll get lucky when I'm the Glenwood area in Febuary to skip away from my friends and family for a quick sled sesh!
 
Drove up to Stratton to for a bachelor/ bachelorette party. Drinking and snowboarding weekend!

I'm surprised we even got this much snow this year! The road is for the most part closed to the Mauna Kea summit due to ice and high winds but Mauna Loa side is always open since it's paved pretty much all the way up to the observatories. Only thing it's 6 miles more of offroad to the summit. Not many can make up to the summit when it's heavily snowed in. There was a turbocharged jeep on 41.5" tires that just breezed it's way up there today tho lol. If you want to go sledding, Mauna Kea would be the better choice. More snow covered area and less lava rocks like Mauna Loa. It usually snows all the way till March and sometimes in June too! Here's a view of Mauna Kea from Mauna Loa. Way more snow on that mountain if only they opened the road to it.

Today is our 33rd anniversary, so we loaded up Megaweapon with a big pile of new toys and delivered
them to the Salvation Army's "Angel Tree" out at Parkway Plaza. (This has become our anniversary tradition.)
Then we went to dinner at Red Lobster.

How are/were the conditions? I am SO pumped for snowboarding season and I want to start making weekend trips up to Stratton, Mt Snow, Okemo, etc etc. I know it's early, but how was it?

The conditions kinda blew. 12 trails and a packed mountain had everyone funneled down to two runs. It was like snoboarding in PA... but thats to be expected for this early in the season. It was just cool to strap on my board and ride a bit

Yea I want to just get on my board and ride. The wait is killing me lol. But if it is that bad, I think I will just wait a few more weeks and pray a big-ass snow storm :D
 
Are those 265/70's or 275/70's? Front skid plate has only one support point for jack lift. They should of used that alone and then support the frame by 4 Jack Stands.
