No pics but you may have seen that Portland got about 3 inches of snow and it crippled the entire city. Fortunately I had my Blizzak DM-V2 tires installed last week and have spent the past 3 days driving around picking up and dropping off friends that were stuck. I gotta say, these tires on this rig are damn near unstoppable. I've been trying to slide sometimes and they just won't break free.

Hah, yeah, it wasn't much. I live in Sellwood and got a solid 3 inches.

Amen, here's an idea: If you drive a 1990's POS 5.0 Mustang with wide bald tires and rear wheel drive, take Max................ It only takes one of these D-Bags to ruin the entire commute!!!!

Snow?! Yes please!! Headed up to hunter mountain bright and early to grab some fresh tracks!! Roads sucked and the Bridgestone tires suck too. Can't wait to get back into some AT2's. drove in 4x4 the whole way. Stayed under 50mph.
On another note anyone know the max recommend speed in 4x4? I hope it's more than 50!!!

If you are going over 50mph, do you really need to be in 4 wheel drive?

I tried it in 2wd but they were just so slick I did need the 4wd. They weren't plowed. I was mostly around 45-50 but anything more was just sketchy.

Took ol Blue out in the snow for the first time. I love this ride more and more. Unstoppable.

That's more or less what I found in my first snow with my beast. Handled a lot better in 4WD with much less slipping, but much beyond 45-50 mph and stopping was a problem. I'm still debating whether or not to throw winter tires on my stock wheels.
My manual for my 2014 Limited says to stay below 50mph in 4x4H.

While switching to it or in general? The link a few posts up says differently. I'll have to RTFM and see what it says. I just didn't have time while driving in the stuff.
