Not at all. I wanted the original cargo basket because mesh just allows for more rust points, and I wanted the basket walls. It's very well made for a Mexico product and I was standing on it today, no problems. The specs say it adds 8 inches to the top of the vehicle but I think it looks just fine.

Not to mention I waited less than 2 weeks between ordering to installation.

I made some better splash shields for the inner fender. I first did this on my 2015 Tacoma when it was new and after 1.5 years of Oregon rain/snow the engine bay is still clean like the day I bought it.

Your insurance will cover this if you have full coverage. Rodent damage is typical , specially in the colder months. Is it soy based wire coating as some ambulance chaser lawsuit claims? I'm not an expert on rodents and what kind of wiring they prefer to chew on but I know this has been a problem on cars as long as I can remember.

Installed the 2nd front camera and finally got around to installing and aiming my Rigid DOT fogs with the rigid kit.

2 front cameras now. One is above the license plate at the bottom of the lower grill and yhe other one is attached to the bottom of the bumper valance and angled down a bit.

They are made out of 1/16" rubber. I made templates then cut them out of rubber. I used some plastic xmas tree push pins to attach them. Been doing this on all my trucks for years.

Great idea. The whole 5th gen fender liner (or lack there of) really bugs me to be honest. Particularly the rears in front of the wheel, that nice dirt/grime/salt catch that you spend five minutes hosing crap out of.

Replaced air filters. Wiped down the engine compartment after about 55k miles. Started to dip a few pieces of interior trim for no reason (final pics on that one later).

Went in for 55k service, and had them also get the BD wiring harness through the firewall at the main wiring harness grommet (I had real trouble).
Afterwards the shop manager come to me drooling over all the upgrades. He quickly picked up on the HID lights, alternator and Big 3 upgrade, along with the lift, and obviously the SSO Bumper. I'm sure he'll be joining the forum soon, and his still stock '14 Trail won't be for much longer!
