Bilstein 5100 Installed. 1.75" with 1" corn fed spacer in the rear.
Also completed the h11 to h9 mod and levelled the headlights.

I mounted an arb awning to the factory rails today, temporarily, until the Gobi shows up sometime in the next year.

Adjusted my headlights so I can stop blinding people on the roads.

Installed RCI TRD Integration Skid. The T-Case and Transmission skids are here, but I haven't had time to install them since they both need to be installed together.

This weekend I'll get pics up of the blingy aluminum undercarriage

2. Added Sliders, blackout kit, bigger BFG's, light tint, Weathertech mats, and a whole lot of detailing.

Running 275's with no lift. They are perfect for my needs, and I have always loved the AT's. The wheels are great, and I love them on the white 4Runner.

Here's my mounting solution. I had gotten some Z brackets and bolted it to the inside channel and had a plate made at a local fab shop in town for $20. I will be re tightening it tomorrow. Watching it through the sunroof it has minimal movement at 75mph+

My only concern with 275's is load range E. They do look great however:thumb:

Make sure it is really "temporarily" and check often for metal fatigue cracks in this "hadware store bracket". Also I'm not sure if factory rails are designed to hold a "twisting force" load. Installing a a factory crossbars next to mounting points would help a lot.

Thats a good idea. I really only need it for 2 outings that are fairly close buy, so it wont stay on 100% of the time. The permanent-ish mounting will come when the gobi shows up.

Good to know. Did they effect power on highway hills? Mpg? I know you didn't really drive it much before the switch so it might be hard to compare.

I really can't say with certainty as I'm still in the break in process, and still have about 70 miles on the truck. I can say from experience with E rated tires on my Tacoma, that you will lose a bit of power, but it isn't terrible. The gas mileage will drop a bit, but less than 1 mpg. Overall, I would say that the cons aren't an issue at all when compared to the benefits of the tire. That is why I had the Nittos swapped out with 25 miles on the clock.

Went in for my 10,000 mile service today...I think I got an "urban" service tech; I don't call scrapes and a bit of Mojave Road embedded in the front skid plate "damage" per se.
