Not sure of this counts, but I made this sweatshirt in commemoration of my new Cement TRD Pro. My detailer liked my new truck so much he HAD to have one and got one 24 hours later!

Gotta cut the sleeves off that bad boy and Rocky it to Phili! Ripped sweatpants and all!

I have installed VIOFO A119 black box DASH cam on the front of the vehicle and the rear. This black box reviewed very well and highly recommended by many people on YouTUBE reviewers and it's the best budget blackbox system out there. Records in 2K, much higher than 1080 P resolution. It records well for daylight and also a records well during the night. It captures license plate without any problems. I highly recommend it. The rear, I attached it using the 30 pound 3M double-sided tape.

About three weeks ago...

I had plenty of room to merge (about 3 car lengths behind the Nissan Altima), but the F150 was barreling towards my rear. So, I stopped merging the first time until he backed off. Then when I started to merge again, he decided he wanted to be in front of me.

You may want to mute this as I have some pretty horrible feedback in my video. I need to figure out how to mute it.

$2,500 worth of damage to the fender and bumper. I have been without her for 2 weeks driving a Jeep Cherokee rental...

Damn that sucks. Maybe have a chance to do a bumper upgrade? Saw you already plan on getting a rear camera as well, makes a big difference in case like this. I wouldn't get a dashcam without a rear channel. Have been happy with my Panorama X2, except it's a PITA to go out to the truck, pull the cards (one for front one for rear), and then download to computer, and replace cards. Really wish I had one of the newer ones with wifi or bluetooth for file transfers. Hope you get your ride back soon!

Just had it repainted too. It's actually my wife's car she got when she turned 16 but I get to drive it because she doesn't like driving too much.

Definitely a bonus when marrying her!

We went east out of town on I-8 to Ocotillo, then took S-2 north with a couple side trips off the pavement.
Didn't get to do as much off-roading as I had hoped, but I'll take what I can get.

As it turns out, we were too early. Lots of green but almost no blooms yet. With warmer weather expected this
weekend, the blooms should be taking off by the beginning of next week.

We still had a good time. It was great to finally get out to the desert again, and I also got a lot of nice pics of
Megaweapon.

We finally saw a few small patches of sand verbenas in bloom, just a couple miles north of Agua Caliente Springs:

Went as far north as Scissors Crossing, then headed up to Julian for pie and dinner before going home.

Along the way home we stopped near the top of Mt. Laguna to get the last photos of the day:

While there, I saw the "ice/snow" warning on the display for the first time:

Is the rear holding up pretty well to the cloth ceiling? I have the AutoVox dashcam for the front but now I'm curious about this version for the rear. Been wanting to add one back there. And I'm assuming the power is just coming from the rear DC input.

The double sided tape is actually attached to the headliner fastener (plastic part) so it's really stuck on there. I've added a velcro strap to secure it for added support. It's plugged to the rear cigarette jack.

I have the same set up with an alternate camera. It just makes sense these days to make sure that the careless driving of others doesn't become my problem/liability.

I was able to get my baby back yesterday. Good as new.

I didn't realize just how much I love driving my 4Runner until I got stuck in a Jeep for 2 weeks. I am looking into the possibility of putting a 4 camera system in this weekend. I am going to look into a video bypass to run the entire system off my head unit. I want to hide the cameras and make them look as OEM as possible. My wife has already told me she backs the idea 100%.

last night i finished up the wiring prep for the HO alternator that is going in RIGHT NOW!!! lost the damn alternator hot wire nut for about 30 mins, but after moving the truck via the button to put it in gear without the key in it , rolling on the ground for a bit, and getting my headlamp due to waning light it was located.

Anyone going to install beefier wiring on the alternator, know this: cut away the plastic housing around the stock alternator hot line wire end, where it connects to the alternator. It will make your life much easier as there is not enough thread stub sticking up prior to the removal of the plastic to install another wire to that location. Or maybe its just me, but i couldnt get it prior to removing the plastic.

Very nice. Had mine for many years. Restored and sat in the garage, and finally, my Dad got sick of it and wanted to sell. Made me an offer and i snaked it.

Sad thing; recently had it act up and take out the neighbor's garage, so getting a little TLC/cosmetic refresh right now. And then after, get the original black/gold plates reissued to the car.

If you ever come up for a California Mustang (City of Industry) cruise, hit me up. Hoping to do more this summer.

And to go with the theme of this thread, um, drove 4Runner to work, and will pick up some parts for that Mustang later on in the day.
