Switch-pro SP8100 progress

Received my Switchpro unit the other day from the latest group buy and got it all wired up to an aux fuse block.

I used the Pelfreybilt Fuse Tray and a BlueSea fuse block with 6 independent circuits. The fuse block was not required for installation but i wanted to keep things as clean as possible and make connecting future accessories easier.

Can't wait to get the switchpro installed in the engine bay and wired to the battery... I've been too busy lately to finish it up but hoping to get it all wrapped up soon enough!

Wrapped hood scoop area in black satin black. I'd rather have it wrapped in bacon but this will do.

Looks good. Did you pre cut the vinyl before applying or use some sort of knife tape?

Just had it repainted too. It's actually my wife's car she got when she turned 16 but I get to drive it because she doesn't like driving too much.

Definitely a bonus when marrying her!

haha, definitely in tip top condition.
Interior just got restitched up so she's lookin pretty wicked all around and runs absolutely great.

Awesome car to have around San diego when the sun is out and to cruise on the weekend.

Certainly will, Id highly recommend this kit, one light in each wheel well is plenty bright with good spread and the magnets are more than strong enough for mounting made it very easy and im happy with it regardless of the faulty light.

I had planned to go back out to the desert this evening for an overnighter, but had to postpone it for a week or so. At least there'll be a better chance of seeing wildflowers when I do get there.

Very nice. Had mine for many years. Restored and sat in the garage, and finally, my Dad got sick of it and wanted to sell. Made me an offer and i snaked it.

Sad thing; recently had it act up and take out the neighbor's garage, so getting a little TLC/cosmetic refresh right now. And then after, get the original black/gold plates reissued to the car.

If you ever come up for a California Mustang (City of Industry) cruise, hit me up. Hoping to do more this summer.

And to go with the theme of this thread, um, drove 4Runner to work, and will pick up some parts for that Mustang later on in the day.

Last weekends install

Schrockworks bumper, step sliders, Smittybuilt 10k winch with synthetic line, factor 55 Prolink, Cobra 75 CB and temp antenna until my red 4' fire stick arrives.

I got this surprise on I-20 on my way home from school.

I hate when this happens. Three windshield replacement in in week in December (in Tacoma and 2 times in 4Runner), and now got the rock in Nissan. I wish car windshields are made of transparent steel

The good news my 4Runner is now legally registered in Poland. Polish plates are ugly, I can tell you that, but the car has to be registered with Polish plates in order to get insurance. Oh, well I will hang my California plates on the wall.

I read in a post somewhere here that during the battery replacement, they kept a constant 12V connected to the 4Runner which kept all of the settings.

So....I bought an inexpensive jump start unit that also had 12v continuous power, charged it up, & verified it did indeed put out 12V by itself without being connected to anything.
Connected it to the battery cables, swapped out the original Toyota battery for a new Interstate battery from Costco. Fired up the 4Runner and everything worked as it did before without any issues or reprogramming required. WooHoo!!!

In case you're wondering...the original Toyota battery still worked after 7 years and 73K miles, but it was getting sluggish on starting.
