Antman Rocker Trim and Side Step Install

Went back and read Jeff's post on removing the rocker panels, found here:http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/92013-antmans-thread-25.html#post1003023

Took my rockers off, installed some side steps from a 2016 T4R.

Went back and read Jeff's post again, then trimmed my rockers and put them back on. He's way better with the angle grinder than I am, but they look good.

Top left is just the new side steps, top right is one factory rocker and one trimmed rocker, bottom left is the trimmed rocker and side step installed and bottom right is crap in my yard that's left over.

Met up with [MENTION=152226]engineeer[/MENTION] today (friday) at Americas Tire. He got new KO2s and I got his Nittos!

Hope the NTGs treat you well! There's been about 3' of snow in Tahoe in the last 18 hours--I think I'd be in a ditch somewhere if I didn't have A/T tires.

DONE:
Oil change (last shop over torqued everything.. was a pain getting the bolt out of the oil filter housing and replacing the small o-ring). Greased all the zerk fittings. Spayed the shock rods. Replaced the air filter. And finally reinstalled my Gobi fairing as the rubber trim piece fell apart on my last road trip.

Left to do:
- Fix threaded insert on Goose Gear Floor.
- Install National Luna Dual Battery system (get an auxiliary tray first)
- Fix spacing issue on upper trailing arm zerk fittings.
- Replace sheered off zerk fitting on passenger side upper trailing arm.
- Order Tembo Tusk LoadSpotter fridge slide
- Order National Luna Weekender 50 fridge.

I need more garage time to knock some of these out!

Made the switch . . . Xenon Depot/Philips HID 4300K in the Low Beams and Philips LED 2700k 4 Fogs. I always loved the looks of those Lexus cars with the yellow fogs.

Happy I could help out. Ultimately i wound up bumping up to the 6000k because I liked the slightly bluish hue and it suited my LEDs a bit better. But still by far one of the best upgrades you can do to the 4R. Xenondepot is awesome.

They sell it singles and I used 3M double sided tape

Went for a scenic drive. In the Olympic mountains. In a snow storm.

2017 4R Limited on 265/70r17 Blizzak LM-V2s.

No problems, but we would have had to turn back if someone hadn't knocked down the crown in the last few days. Plowing through the fresh powder was ok. Plowing through the ice in a factory height Limited might not have gone so well
Between 24"-30" at the deepest point, 12"-16" at the crown. No pictures from the top. Too busy...

Still kinda new to the 4runner. Had a Nissan Xterra Pro-4x and a Jeep JK Rubi prior. Needed more room for the kiddos and the ability to tow my little off road camper.

Just got done installing Bilstein 5100's (Set to .85" up front with 10mm OME spacers in the rear.) Also got some new shoes - Cooper ATP Load E's in stock config. Loving how it drives now. The mild nature of the lift and the ride quality is now absolutely perfect. Love it. :guitar3:

Oh...last item...Raingler Nets custom made me an upper half cargo barrier net (had one in my Xterra prior). Works great.

Initiated her... finally...

And she did amazing hanging with Jeeps!... especially on P-rated Nittos. (Tho admittedly, we didn't do anything too ridiculous... only a handful of hairy sections). The tire thing kept my arse clinched for most of it... decent sized rocks thru about half of what we drove thru.

Purchased an ARB dual compressor, manifold kit and bandi mount. I wish ARB offered this with their locker promotion since I'll be picking up the front and rear air lockers in the next month. I will also be ordering the Nitro 4.56 gears as well.

Bandi provided all the screws and extra lock nuts to install the mount.
