Figured I'd run radio coax while the rear floor is up for my slide install. It's an 18' Wilson cable with a detachable connector which made it an easy installation. I rarely use CB but it's good to have when running trails with folks who do still use them. I figure with this setup I can just keep the coax coiled up under the driver's seat when not in use. This 2016 has a 12v in the center console instead of the 120 that came in my '13 which is funky, but in this case works well.
If anyone has a swr meter and jumper coax in the SF bay area I can borrow please let me know, I can't find mine anywhere and headed out on a trip next week. I'd be happy to get you coffee or lunch for the inconvenience.

Sorry for late response. With everything I believe I have about 5+ grand wrapped up into it. I own a paint and body shop so I just pay for paint materials and I get parts at cost and it's all oem Toyota. This includes

Both rocker moldings and rocker extensions

Probably leaving stuff out but it's definitely a lot of work.

Mounted my Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the morning and hit the trails to mess around in snow and mud.

I'm in search of 2010-2013 Trail Edition roof racks. Thought maybe one of you guys here would have some kicking around after installing an aftermarket basket or something. Please send me a PM if you've got a set you'd like to sell. The closer to Jessup MD the better.

I finally got around to installing my lift today. Did the bilstein 5100 set at .85 with the ToyTec 2" spacer, and Daystar 1.5" coil spacers in the rear with Bilsteins. Along with a set of SPC UCA's. Also installed a ToyTec Diff drop kit.
My starting measurements were 35" up front and 36.5" in the rear all stock.
As it sits now my measurements from ground to fender are 38" in the front and 38" in the rear. Hopefully when I get the alignment dialed in it will bring the front down 1/4"-1/2".
If not I may have to redo the front and lower it a bit.
The front was fairly easy. But the rear was a PITA!
Now I'm just waiting on TireRack to send my rims and 4WP to order my tires and I should be all set.
I'll post pictures tomorrow. It's dark so I didn't snap any pictures yet.

Installed the super common Bilstein 5100s all around. Went with the 2.5" setting in the front and 1.5" Daystar spacers in the front. Frame came out level with a 1" front body rake.
Having the alignment done tomorrow morning, but I'm hoping that doesn't change my numbers too much.
Ground to frame:
FL: 13.5 to 16 3/8
FR: 13.5 to 16 3/8
RL: 14.5 to 16.5
RR: 14 1/4 to 16 3/8
Ground to fender:
FL: 34 7/8 to 37 3/4
FR: 35 to 37 7/8
RL: 37 1/8 to 38 7/8
RR: 37 1/4 to 39

Trying to decide the order of the next mods. Pretty sure Shrockworks rock rails with treads are next. The family already had to take flying leaps to get in before the lift.

I can confirm trail comes with black caps, that's exactly why I painted my rails black, because they already did it halfway with the caps!

Bought a Thule Sonic XL for my factory crosssbars and used it on a camping trip this weekend.
The Thule Sonic XL is now discontinued. If you want one, gotta find it in stock somewhere (I went to Rack Attack). This is too bad since the Sonic XL is one of only 2 roof boxes I've found 15 cu. ft. or larger, fits my 185 cm skis, and fits onto factory crossbars. The other is the Thule Hyper XL which is the same box, but with LED lights inside and a more rigid floor and lid--for $350 more.
The Sonic XL does not contact the lift gate when open, and does not interfere with the shark fin. XM Radio and NavTraffic worked just fine.

Pre-tensioned winch line and a 2015 Inferno TRD Pro joins the family
I've been looking out for an Inferno Red 2015 TRD Pro for my twin bro, the only color he was interested in, and the rarest 4Runner of all time. The 2015 Inferno Red TRD Pro is a commemorative color for 2015 only, signifying the first time the 4Runner and all 3 Toyota trucks were available in a TRD Pro trim.
This past Friday an alert hit my inbox for a newly arrived Inferno Red gem in Los Angeles, CA with only 1500 miles...exactly 1500 miles on the ODO. Turns out a famous car collector had bought it and needed to make room for another collectable darling. I immediately phoned my bro and told him he had to book a flight to LA to buy this TRD TOMORROW. At 7am Saturday, the next morning, he flew down, bought her and drove her back to SF Bay Area where we ended up at a bar last night to celebrate.
Today we took her up to a nearby hill so I could hook up to the rear tow hitch and pretension my new winch line. Next up on the Inferno, ICONs, 285s, and much more. We'll probably do the twin thing and match things up.
I can't wait to drive the TRD Pro to compare it to my lifted KDSS rig. A write up on the differences between the 2016 Trail Premium (now TRD Offroad Premium) and characteristics coming soon!
