Washed her for the first time in like 6-7 months, dunno between CA drought conservation, off roading, and frequent rains, seemed like there was never a good time.
Also mounted my new CVT Mt. Shasta RTT. What a ***** and a half to mount to the Gobi adjustable crossbars. Ended up removing the bars and mounting the rtt to the bars first on the ground then moving it up top. It ain't coming off anytime soon.
Suburban overlanding. LOL
Do you think the Gobi is worth the $? Also, what the CVI black thing on your rack and what's under it?

Thank you Charlotte and Ryan my friendly neighbors who own a 4th Gen and took this shot of my campsite with their Flag in the foreground. Dozens of local Jeepers had a pavilion a few campsites over, so he hung his flag first thing, just to keep em honest. Beautiful weekend here in FLA with Lows in the 40s....perfect camping weather before our 9 months of Summer.

I ordered them as part of the group-buy in early March (the 8th or 9th) and Josh sent me an email on April 3 to come pick them up. I had my rock sliders powder coated, so it added a week or so in addition to the 30+ in the group-buy keeping them busy. RCI is a small company, but the quality and engineering of their products are first-rate.
Searched the Forum for "TRD skid plate on KDSS", found topic and PDF's with templates, printed templates, applied templates to skid, used jig-saw and file and then installed TRD skid plate onto our 2014 Trail w/KDSS.

The big black square is a CVT Mt. Shasta roof top tent, and the black thing under it appears to be an ARB awning.

It's better than the stock rack. Worth the cost is relative but I have no complaints.
The CVT thing is the cover to my CVT rooftop tent.

Picked up my rig. Put on the March Madness Special from Total Automotive Performance. 3" 2.5 Fox w/res in the front with 1.5" 2.5 Fox w/res in the rear with OME 1.5" springs. Then I put Dirt King (heim) UCAs. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Have a tiny bit of rubbing on the front mud flap when I'm all the way locked.

Took my daughter to Capital Reef National Park. It got crazy windy which kept me up all night but we had a great trip.
