Raptors are badass, but are too wide for any trail riding down these parts... unless you really like that high pitched trail stripping sound x10 ... that shit makes me cringe !

Yeah, that was my thought, too. Most trails here are narrow and the tight switchbacks don't take kindly to long wheelbases either.

The Raptor would be an absolute hoot out in the open sand of Arizona or New Mexico. You'd still get trail striping from the Mesquite trees, but there's no squeal at 50+ mph.
But lets be honest... Those truck get hard parked at the mall as much as most 4Runners. :laugh:

Re-aimed my headlights (again). It's crazy how low they came in from the factory. From 25' away they were 14" below the center of my headlights whereas most literature says they should be 2-3" below. I had them at 5.5" below prior to this and now they're at 3" below.

Raptor strikes me as an awesome truck for 2-3 years, not much more. I ONLY have 100k on my truck, looking for 200k. :clock:
On topic, drove it home from work today, snorkel arrives tomorrow, guess I'll tell the wife, maybe.

Finally washed off 2 months of bugs, mud, and brake dust off. Interior is still disgusting my dash looks brown from the amount of dust. Found some more chips on my rear bumper also :twitch:

Yesterday morning, just before noon, my wife and I were surprised to see a chicken crossing the street just a few
