Just picked up some touch up paint at the dealership for those pits on my hood. And then installed the AVS deflector.

It's growing on me.

Had my new wheels installed. ☺
Blacked out grill and changed all interior bulbs to led.
Ive got most of the cosmetic items changed that i wanted... now to the expensive additions ��

Thanks for the heads up on the Gobi Rack! I ordered mine 3 weeks ago. However I'm seeing no issue with the factory cross bars. There is enough clearance. But I will call Gobi to check. Thank you

Essentially with the standard stealth, keep the front clamps lock and leave the rear fwd/bwd adjustments loose. Hook and lock the front clamps which may recall lifting the rear of the box. Then hook the rear clamps which my require some force; sliding then along their adjustment track. Lock everything down and you're done.

With a bit more clearance, the skybox would slide on in 5 minutes as intended.

Went out for a hike in eastern Washington for the day and got to use the 4x4 in the process to get to the trail head. About a two mile drive off road including driving through some streams! What a great time! (Iron Bear Trail)

Ew.... What happened?

While camping near Cortez, CO this past week, I went through a muddy water crossing and got hung up. I worked my way out but it was sufficient time for water to leak in. Last time this happened I found that my primary passenger side drain plug was popped in and thought that was the cause. Now I'm thinking it's the door skin drain holes that are letting water come in. Regardless I'm done with muddy water pits.

6 foot Tree branch fell on it while we were driving back from some light hiking with son. Wife freaked out .. luckily it hit the roof rack first and then bounced on my windshield. No damage just some light scratched to the a pillars

Solved a Fly Rod Transport Dilemma

Dilemma: How to safely transport a 9' fully rigged fly rod in the T4R.

Explanation: Yes, I know that breaking it down is the safest option but it takes time. When you are driving from one part of a river to the next, or are fishing where it may be crowded, the ability to park and GO, can be essential.

Options: Internally mounted overhead rod rack-T4R is too short and the angles on the ceiling don't work. External rod box like a Rod Vault or Big Sky Rod Box-expensive and don't have one yet (that will be my ultimate solution after my Gobi Stealth arrives; if it ever arrives.

Solution: Drop the pass through on the back seat. Place reel on rear edge of cargo liner. Cut a couple of knotches in a piece of foam pipe insulation (a DIY secret weapon BTW), velcro to carpet on back of pass through seat, and Bob's your uncle!

It works in the driveway; I'll see how it works on the road.
