So this happened yesterday...still waiting on my tires. And I think I'll crank the front up a bit. I like rake but it's a bit much for me.

Looks great. Give it 4-6 weeks before adjusting. The back will settle some, it looks very high as it is. What are your center of hub to fender measurements? I can tell you ToyTec told me center of hub to bottom of fender up front should not be more than 23" to avoid nasty CV angles.

As "2016 4Runner SR5" said, give the rear time to settle. For a 3" lift, the front hub to bottom-of-fender height should be 23" and the rear should be 24". When I put my Boss 2.5 kit on, I wound up with 23" front and 25" rear. After wheeling last weekend, it's come down in the rear to 24.5" and expect that it'll settle a bit more yet.

Plan to install lift next weekend. Just waiting on my front Toytec 2.5 coilovers with reservoir. Rear suspension and TC UCA's are already here. Finally coming together.

Arizona heat basically melted the gorilla tape off my RAM mounts, so I decided to finally man up and drill holes in the plastic around the head unit. These mounts aint going anywhere now:

Moab - Didn't go entirely as planned, the weather was rainy for a couple days and got a nasty sinus bug (.....only get sick on vacation) so aside from the typical Moab tours (rafting, hiking, repelling, food) we got to do Top of the World, Fins N Things, Baby Lions back and White Wash Sand Dunes. Over all Top of the world was the most technical with a handful of decent sized ledges to navigate. Fins was just a blast but your rear end takes a beating. Baby Lions back was just because its so short and the Dunes were Awesome.

Overall we loved it we will be back hopefully with a high clearance rear bumper and slightly larger tires

Yea... it's actually my buddy's garage. He has pretty much a full shop in there (the pictures only show about 1/6th of the space). I need to get to work on my garage as well... and buy some more tools

Nice! Just installed the Boss 2.5s front and rear with SPC UCAs on my Nautical Blue TEP last week. Someone at work has a stock TRDORP and I got a pic of them together...total transformation. I assume you're probably in the Denver area...took mine out to Pickle Gulch before the snow this week and had a ball. I have KDSS, so the difference on-road wasn't as great as I thought it would be, but definitely better ride than stock off-road.

No KDSS here so there is a HUGE difference over stock to me... body roll, brake dive, and jarring (e.g. from potholes) have been greatly reduced. I thought the stiffer suspension would be worse in terms of general road worthiness, but I personally think it is a better ride over stock all the way around. Since we needed the third row, I never even test drove a KDSS... maybe I should do that some time just so I can compare.

BTW... we are in COS.

We will be doing Moab in a couple of weeks as well... did you drag the corners of the rear bumper much or mostly just your hitch? I picked up one of the hitch mounted skid plates offered by www.skidmark4x4.com for the trip but I am not sure if it is going to help as much as I hope it will.

Question for you lifted guys. Who's running an adjustable rear track bar and extended rear brake lines? Also, at what amount of lift is the adjustable bar and extended lines required? I'm at 2" now and likely going up to 3" Trying to plan ahead and buy everything I'll need.

Awesome man! Glad you had a great time but sorry you got sick. You have an excuse to go back since you didn't get to do Hell's Revenge, haha. Thanks for sharing. I truly miss Moab if I don't see it every year.

Mostly the rear hitch but my bumper got some scuffs aswell. If you take your time you will be ok but I would not run Top of the World without sliders and skids - You definitely can but I was careful and still gave them a good workout so without I would expect damage

You CAN do both, but you don't NEED to do either unless you plan on running longer travel shocks. I run a 3" lift with an OEM track bar and OEM brake line. My shocks and sway bar will limit me far before the brake line stretches too far. I don't feel a track bar is necessary unless you're lifting far more than 3".

Its an awesome area, I do regret that its dominated by UTV's - They are ripping around everywhere. I know in reality its not all owners but it seemed like over 50% were not driving respectfully of others/the terrain. O, and those things need mufflers

Agreed, the UTV's are really annoying at times. It also depends on when you are there. Regardless of the number of vehicles, however, they should all have a level of respect. But, we are talking about people here.
