What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

The stock suspension was really soft in comparison. Steering and especially braking was mushy and nose divey. So far the Icon is tight in a very good way. Better feel, more control. My friend got his 2014 T4R Limited done with the same kit on the same day and he had a chance to get his in the dirt and is raving about how great it is.

That's what I was hoping for. It's now on my wish list. Thanks!

got my first door ding, made it all of 2 months. Whoevere decided to tap me twice with a white car i hope you get super herpes from your uncle.

I did mine. These massive doors swing open a lot faster than my 3rd gen. Tapped my 3rd gen's mirror as I opened my door and put a little pock mark just above the door handle where I can see it every time I open the door.

Took a quick family weekend trip down to Key West. First time there for the kids and I. The weather was cloudy for the famous sunset, still beautiful though. Guess it just means we'll have to go back!

Took my boy and his friend down a local trail through the Native American reservation late friday night. Lost engine power in the middle of a swamp at the end. Truck wouldn't turn over. Got pulled out by the fire chief and the truck got towed to the dealer. No fun

Im interested in more info on caliper covers as well...everything i have found online says min 18" wheel required, and clearly you have 17" trd wheels.

I really need to do that. Roof rails are the only thing on my truck that isn't black. Did you take them off or spray them in place?

Installed my leveling kit over the weekend.

Toytec 2.5" front and Cornfed 1" rear.

I'm really happy with the results. The ride height and ride quality are perfect for my driving style.

Also installed yellow fog light lamin-x film while I was at it.

I wanted to take them off, but I didn't for a couple of reasons. So I took off the corner pieces (from a Trail Edition), and then used builders paper and painters tape to mask the top and sides. My son had sprayed Plasti-Dip before, on another project, so I let him handle the spraying.

Wheeling at Hungry Valley

Good time this past weekend up near Gorman, CA at Hungry Valley OHV. This trail was rated difficult, but was moderate at best. Just steep dirt road basically. Attended 2 day Wilderness First Aid course, taught by Wilderness Medical Associates. I highly recommend it, since we are commonly several hours (or days) from medical help.
