Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The weather was crazy. It rain with thunderstorm then followed by hail then snow. #snowinjune

Got my TRD CAI components from Camelback today and installed them in under two hours. I like the design. Does it make more power or torque than the stock box? I don't really know, maybe a little, but I don't really care. It was fun putting it in, made me feel like a "tuner" again. Now it growls under full throttle.

I've been there. What I did was pick up an outdoor rug from Home Depot. I think it was nylon or something. Worked great until my welder set it on fire.

Did a little camping and kayak fishing up at Mongaup Pond, NY. Two yaks loaded up on the Gobi and a ton of stuff in the rear she was sitting heavy. Wheelers Off-road T1 & T-12's showed up as I was gone so they will be going on soon with some 5100's.

I like that location! Looks more OEM (which I'm a fan of) and not as much in the way.

One thing I will say, the CBI mount should be tweaked a bit. You can't see it here but, the antenna has a slight tilt forward and outward. I haven't fine tuned mine but will be doing so in the next few weeks.

my CBI bracket is the same. Probably because these are just ditch light brackets sold as an antenna bracket. It doesn't bother me enough that I'm going to take it off to try and bend it. Had to do a ton of dremeling to get mine to fit.

DAC, A-TRAC, & TRAC/VSC/Trailer Sway Control testing
Drove to the nearest dirt road to check out the Downhill Assist Control (DAC)on my 2016 T4R Premium. I learned that it works best shifting to the "2" or "1" range of S. It seems to work fine, but the T4R shakes quite a bit when the "auto-braking" kicks in. Apparently this is normal operation. IMO, sometimes the brakes are applied too hard and the vehicle slows down too much.
I also checked out the Active traction control system (A-TRAC). Today's road condition did not stress this function too hard.
Then there's the TRAC/VSC/Trailer Sway Control systems. I need to work on the controls for these more.
I'm going to need a lot more practice to understand all these functions.
