I'm not sure you're supposed to use the highest clip. May be too high up front and can cause snap ring failure. Center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender shouldn't be more than 23" which puts you 3" over stock. Anything more than 3" over stock will destroy your front axles pretty quick and your upper control arm angles will be pretty bad. Stock uppers are pretty bad even at the 3" mark.

My RCI sliders came in. 4 week wait. Not bad. Really happy with these. Ended up painting them Hammered "Black" which ironically turned out to match the paint color very well. The installed picture makes them look more silver than they actually are. Going to run this for a bit. Might switch them to actual black once I snag a set of SCS F5's in black.

A few days late...but I brought her home today! Dealer gave me an offer I couldn't refuse on a '17 Limited so I traded in my '14 SR5. Already loving the smoother ride, push start, all the other goodies the limited has to offer...and the ventilated seats!

Nice! I almost bought a 2016 MGM Limited, but when I went to sign the paperwork it was covered in scratches and I backed out because the salesperson was an ******* about it.

The cooled seats in the Limited are the most effective I've ever experienced. I'm somewhat actively trying to figure out a way to retrofit them into my TRDP.

I just got it back from getting aligned and with the stock UCA it is all in the green! No issues with an alignment and looking at the angles they don't look much different. I also did some searching and it seems the "clip failure" is if you change the height and weaken the clip. Plenty of people have 2.5" front and spacers in the rear like I do. Time will tell though.

I don't see a way to install them both. The C4 sliders share the 3 vertical bolts with the existing fuel skid. Installation requires you put the mounting tabs for the C4 sliders between the frame and the fuel skid, then bolt them all together in 3 spots.

The RCI fuel skid uses those same holes, except it's a rigid piece of metal that wont easily bend up the way the stock fuel skid does. They basically want to live in the exact same space as each other, but only one can.

Great choice. I have the vx-r green dot... Freaking love that optic. Glass is so clear.

When I lived in PA I could only get on a 100yd range. Out in OH I have a 1k shot but have to travel 90mins to get to it. Haven't gone yet but can't wait to see what it can do ~300-400m.

Between guns and the 4R I may need to get a second job.

My friend has vx-r green dot and he also likes it. Personally I have recently purchased a smart HD rifle scope (https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-weapon-sight). It has great features like HD day & HD night, full HD video & photo, magnetometer, accelerometer, e-barometer etc., but I haven't had a possibility to check it. I hope I will have it in the nearest future.

Forever powdercoating in Olympia, wa. They powdercoated my wheels and roof rails gloss black and painted/cleared the emblem kit, the roof rail end caps, and wheel center caps.

The C4 tank skid is well designed (provides side protection) easy to install and tough as hell. I would think they would be designed to work with their sliders. You would have to give them a call though to confirm. I considered RCI but am glad I went with the C4.

Went up to Mt. Rainier for a 17 mile backpack trip. Took the bottoms of the back seat out for more room while sleeping in the back. On night one I slept in the back of the 4runner and while I knew it wouldn't fit well, I can tell you a queen size air mattress was a terrible idea. Felt like a two person taco until the thing eventually deflated. First camp trip with the new 4runner and was very pleased.

Looks like we were on the same road! :thumb:
