Custom ran rod connected to a 3D printed ham ht holder with mic attachment. No more bouncing out of the center console for me.

Did you need to use the foam to keep the ram rod from bouncing? Looks good.

Picked up a carista and using the custom options settings, removed the ECO bar from my dash display that my stealership wasn't willing to do for me.

Still waiting for more parts from various builders to get more work done.

Dark black. They get stepped on and plastered in road grime. You'll regret anything fancy.

Tried to pull out my friend old TJ from a mud hole in a hurry, his truck was sinking and water started leaking in.

Had to use my winch in a bypass road to get myself in front of him and to move a disabled truck who was blocking the road.
So I decided to use the kinetic rope on his jeep, fearing of running down my stock battery/overheating the winch.

No hook or anything on his frame, so we looped a flimsy tow strap around his front bumper to the kinetic rope. Yeah I know, stupid.

Gave a good pull with the 4runner quickly followed by what sounded like a shotgun shot.

The tow strap snapped and the kinetic rope smashed my tailgate.

4h later, still angry at myself. 100% my fault, can't believe I did a stupid mistake like this.

With all the informative video I've watch about how to do it safely...
Maybe it was the stress, i don't know but still, no offroading for me for a while.

It could have been alot worst, nobody hurt.

At least nobody got hurt, curious, what section of the strap broke?

In to Landcruiser NW for a LCA uniball replacement, tune/tighten /lube the front suspension. Replaced rear link bushings. Then they chased a noise from wheelbearings that were fine to a dry transfer case, needs a rebuild... caCHING! [emoji24]

Working on a RAM ball bracket that will bolt to the passenger side seat bolt. Attaching a ball to plastic on the console or dash doesn’t seem sturdy enough for a tablet. Most other seat bolt attachments will compromise floor mats like my Husky Liners. This is my first attempt using 1.5” aluminum angle. If it works I will pick up some 3” angle to make more clearance for the seat bracket.

I started seeing a bunch of Hidden Falls posts in some Facebook groups last night so I did a custom YouTube search for "4Runner Hidden Falls". Yours was one of the first I saw! I really want to make it out there one day.
Do you and everyone typically camp there or just have fun for the day and leave?

Most of our group camped Friday and Saturday night. They got a campground at the far reaches of the park that was really perfect. I did not camp out. This was an experiment for me with my 6 year old since he usually gets bored on the trails in Colorado. He had quite a bit more fun here. Next time, we will probably camp out.

Got my jack handles mounted with some quickfists on the rear hatch now to just finish the jack's skidplate and QD mount.

Noticed even tho they probably only weigh 5 lbs it weighs my hatch down enough that it doesn't open by itself like it used to, the struts still hold it open still at least.
Also ordered a scangauge II no clue why but it got it used on ebay for like $45
