I ordered a Gobi Stealth Rack yesterday!



To those that own this Rack...

Can I sit up there? Will this support the weight of me and a friend if we wanted to climb up there for a better view for photography or to chill and drink a beer during an epic sunset? Or should I stay off of it? lol

Absolutely! I did just that a couple of weeks back specifically to get a better picture.

Did some shuttle laps with friends.

Picture taken at trail head on top of the mountain.

First lap up with my buddy's Tacoma on the left, my 4r took us up on the second lap. Final retrieval was done with buddy's Tundra (not pictured here, parked at the bottom of the mountain).

Yotas for the win.

In to Landcruiser NW for a LCA uniball replacement, tune/tighten /lube the front suspension. Replaced rear link bushings. Then they chased a noise from wheelbearings that were fine to a dry transfer case, needs a rebuild... caCHING! [emoji24]

Blew dust out of my tailgate

Replaced my dome and hatch lights with Philips FestoonLED 30mm's, and in the process found my tailgate was full of dust. A huge amount, at just over a year old. There was so much dust that it is covering the interior of the hatch light covers, and when I opened the covers to replace the bulbs, a shower of dirt fell out. So then I took an air blower to those holes, and watched it gushing out of my speakers and the base of the hatch window.

I thought my cabin filter was bad, but jeez....

It's the Icon stage two from Toytec. The tires are 285/70r17 Nitto RidgeGrapplers.
