What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Finally got around to installing my ARB fridge slide and Engel fridge. This combo was been in my WJ, FJ80, Westy Subagon, XJ, Pathfinder, Montero, and now the 4Runner. Down to Baja and up to Banff, and from CA to GA....never failed me!

It sure is.

I talked with them about how to go about fastening the slide to the plate system, and they gave me their recommendations and how they do similar installs...all over the phone on a Saturday morning.

Top notch customer service and well worth the cost of the plate system.

Hit a dang trashcan praying my mirror isn’t broken. Had my car guy come over for a quick glance should get a rate tomorrow to fix it. Praying for my baby to be fixed soon.

I really don't hear many good things about SPC, they never seem to last long Uniball is just as bad IMO. They take quite a bit to maintain. Go with Dirt King or JBA, they both offer ball joint arms.

Don't forget Camburg and Total Chaos!

Hehe misjudged going down a big limestone roller(I don't know if it was limestone, just sounded right) the tube isn't very thick, that's also why it bent up, I've taken other hits on them I guess not that hard. The main square tube is 1/4" though

It shouldn't be to hard to cut that section out, sleeve a new piece in and add a support in between the other two

7 threads on the passenger side. 9 on the driver side.

Yes! It's also fair to say the the stock fogs are completely not usable nor effective in bad weather driving conditions or on dark back country roads. Those things are flimsy and cheap as can be. Might as well have lighting that is effective.

I would think the Squadron Sports are ok......the Pro's are a bit intense.

That's partially the reason I went with the sports over the pros. I'm sure my wife could get away with using them on foggy mornings and bad weather in town. They really light up the night.

The stock lighting on the 4runner is horrible.
