Installed some RCI skid plates and and one RCI slider. Still waiting on the passenger side.
Why do your RCI skids look different from other owners of the RCI skid plates?

AnyTone Smart radio I modded it to run on 11 meter mode for dedicated CB.
Out of the box this comes only in 10 meter mode which is not CB, with a bit of soldering you can make it function as a normal 11 meter CB with AM and FM.
Love the size and power output of this little thing, you can mount it just about anywhere.

I'm patiently waiting for my RCI sliders to get delivered today. Did you put any anti seize on the bolts?
So after this episode, started my truck to be welcome by those lightDid some Dad mechanic today, that mean stopping when my 8month daughter wake up.
While replacing my busted UCA baljoint, I also installed 1/4 top plate spacer in the front to level it.
Here are the crunchy SPC uca baljoint. Only 4month old.
Let's see how long those will last. If Its less than 2 year, I'm going to rip those of and go uniball.

First reaction was to freak out.
Then grab my phone and googled the problem.
Found a thread with few people with the same problem, 99.9% chance it's a damaged abs line.
Calm down, enjoyed driving it without any electronic help.
Went to stealership, comfimed my thought. Replaced abs line, recalibrate.
Paid the 270$ fine.

Taped off and dipped my front and rear emblems. It was colder than usual today so the dip dried a little crater-like, I didn’t think to warm up the cans in warm water till I finished them both. I then un-dipped the front and re-did it. Probably just going to buy the black out kit for the back. Then I installed my HID’s. I will install the fog LED’s later, miss placed my zip tie set.

Yep. I already had a jar in the garage, so it was easy to put a little on each bolt. I'd recommend it especially for the front plate as you'll be taking that one on and off.

I noticed this as well. It's worth noting these are the raw aluminum models for KDSS 4Runners. I believe they redesigned/tweaked their skids for better ground clearence. Looking closely, it appears they steepened the angle of front angled plate to allow the skid to be installed under the front radiator support brackets instead of replacing them. Also, the entire skid has been moved closer up to the body of the car, and there is a little bulge welded onto the plate to allow clearance for something. If anyone knows anything about RCI's changed design please do share.

Agreed.
1/4 carriage bolts, fender washers and wing nuts. When not in use they slide to the side and out of the way. Found a company to drill some drop ins. Waiting on the price.

I joined the Toyota Land Cruiser Assn ( www.tlca.org ).
I was at a shop waiting on a project to get built, and the guy had some old issues of Toyota Trails lying around. That's the official publication of TLCA. I started reading through them and was actually quite impressed with the format and writing. The magazine is a good mix of LC specific articles and general overlanding articles.
I'm always on the hunt for a LC project (haven't ever actually bought one, but whatever!) and this whetted my appetite to actually get one. Plus, the assn promotes all Toyota 4WD, not just LC, so they are appropriate for 4Runners and the like.
And... they have sweet swag!
$35 a year for membership and 6 issues of Toyota Trails.
