Rago Storage Panels.
Well over the past two days I got my RAGO panels painted and installled. They came packaged very nicely! 1st I wiped down the raw steel panels with acetone. Then painted with 3 coats of Rustoleum Hammered Silver paint. Let dry over night and then some. I used rubber lined clamps at top attachment point as opposed to D-rings as posted by Rago. Picked them up at local Lowe's. Also used Quick Fist clamps. Had to drill out rubber clamps to accommodate 1/4" screws. On the back of clamps I used nylon stop nuts. Started to play around with what I wanted to mount. I'm sure this will change over time. Moving the clamps is no big deal. VERY happy with purchase.

There's where I got the brake light sticker. He does it on the side, so it took me quite a while to get responses from the guy. But once the order was placed, it wasn't long before they shipped. Other designs were the stylized TRD and 4Runner.

I installed a Pedal Commander last night. I was a little skeptical when I ordered it, but it makes a huge difference in throttle response.

Mine is through Firestone, too. I've been very pleased with their work and it's damn nice to have the alignment checked and adjusted every tire rotation and leave having paid nothing.

What's up with that strap?
The guy who was winching me out took the line out the full 100ft from where he was and we needed the extra 30ft with the strap. It was down a decent hill and he didn’t want take the chance of coming down where I was [emoji23]. The surroundings honestly were good...it was just that one ditch area where all the rain had drained into a couple days prior. I got a little too enthusiastic and went for it. Newb mistake.

No I wasn’t prepared at all. Got a little too enthusiastic....and it was just that one small section too. [emoji19]. The rest of the surroundings were solid. Water drainage from rain a couple days prior. I need a winch and a bumper soon....among other things. I just bought the 4R 6 weeks ago so it’ll be a slow build process.
I thought the firestone lifetime alignment was limited to every 6k miles or 6 mo, can you get it done more often than that?

Update - no email with shipping confirmation of the parts we talked about it yesterday... [emoji782]
I drove today with the only one wind fairing mounting bolt on the driver side rail
and I think I will have to either park my 4Runner and drive the Sienna or take the rack off as metallic noise is heard from the rack while driving over potholes :redbrick:

They check alignment every tire rotation and adjust as needed, never had an issue.

That’s what I thought as well when I went to buy it, but it appears they’ve removed all the restrictions. I validated it at two different shops around me. They’ve honored the “whenever” policy so far.

Window Tint
Had the front windows tinted - Global Brand Ceramic tint, 35%.
You can see a slight difference between the new vs. privacy glass in the back. They measured the back windows at 26%, in line with other posts on the forum.
I'm ready for STL summers and a road trip or 10.
