Repaired a damaged wheel speed sensor wire and installed my new 3” Icon Overland springs. Going to be stink buggin until my rear bumper comes in a couple of weeks.

Bent my driver side lower/upper (a bit) and the spindle (badly) doing Barstow to Primm...but I made it. I ended up in a giant hole in the road about 60 miles in that had been washed out. Plus a dent in the passenger door, good scrapes to the front and rear bumpers doing some nearby trails... Now time for Camburgs 3.5+ long travel set up.

Just found out I will be moving to Alaska in Aug. I just the military doesn’t like me too close...

Now I just have to figure out my priority list of things to buy before moving so I don’t have to pay outrageous shipping costs

C4 Lo-pro (super expensive to ship to AK)
Toytec lift (super expensive to ship to AK)
Winch (I found it on amazon, so shipping doesn’t matter)
Sliders (expensive to ship to AK)

At least I already have my roof rack.....

Got a lot done today. My buddy just got a TRD Pro, so I had get a pic. Gotta say, I’m a bit jelly. I love my rig, I just wish it was Quicksand.

After screwing around, I had to pack the rig and trailer for for a trip to see the kids for a few days, in Temecula... then Anza Borrego and maybe up to the Mojave!

Side track: We’ve done trips like this before, that had a few days in the city. So, we usually look for a nice RV Park to hang out in, to charge up before heading out. Turns out that the RV parks in that area made us send in a pic of our rig for approval. We didn’t make the cut! So, we are staying at Vail lake?

Told my girl about the pie in Julian and that is a definite stop. thanks Ray!

Ya, I had to laugh. But, at the same time, it kinda pissed me off. I don’t mind spending $ for nice places, but I’ve had a big RV and know those kind of parks. They judge the crap out you! Sketchy dog breed? Tattoo’s? Yup, no invite to the ice cream social for you! I even sent a good “adventure” pic. What gets me is, it’s at a casino. Nothin’ says fancy like nickel slots!

That’s why you just save all the $$ until you move back to the lower 48 lol. JBER or Eielson?

Also, keep in mind... not all items in Amazon can ship to AK, especially heavy items. I’ve tried it myself where I added something in the cart but unable to ship due to location. Anyways, good luck with the move and enjoy the drive (if that’s what you plan to do).
