My girl wanted to go wheeling for Mother’s Day, so we went to the Molina Ghost Run, in Hollister. It’s pretty much a Jeep fest. But, we met some great people. This is the last trip on stock gearing and open diff’s.

Also, installed one of these RSG KDSS Skid Plates to cover up that expensive pump thingy bolted to my frame. Time will tell if I needed that or not, but cheap insurance is cheap insurance is something to do... :loco:

Went to our clubs "Tinker with Toys" monthly tinker session. Good times with good guys.. We had I think six trucks there. Three 4Runners, two Tundras, one Chevy Colorado diesel.

Installed the Gobi Ladder...good HW and install was smooth ... found it easier than I thought to climb up. Probably gonna add the extra cross bars towards the back of the prinsu to ease that first step or two on top

Finally got around to giving it a full detail. Wash, clay bar, then gave it its first wax.

This was my first time clay barring an entire vehicle. It was tedious and took a while but wasn’t as bad as I expected. I think the paint is smoother now than the day I drove it off the lot.

I had it installed locally. With my schedule, I did not have time to tackle this one. I would recommend reaching out to gshadow325 here on the forum. He is a dealer and lots of good feedback from others on the forum on how good his support is. If I would have installed myself, I would have gone through him.

Which Ellis Precision shifter is this Black or Matte Black? I’m look to change out my stock and this looks really good.
