So I guess it pushes the gas down farther than you normally would at any given point making it feel like you your vehicle is faster??? Is that what this thing does? Is it Electronic wizardry...I'm not drinking the koolaid just yet...to each his own but I think I will save my money and just push the gas down farther when I want to go faster. :fro:

Love it! I remember when my 2 knuckleheads were that age. Cut firewood, change my oil, shoot guns, wash my cars, plow snow, go fishing, try to get me to do their homework, yada yada. They are now quite likely older than you are, but thanks for the memory. Nice post.

My neck is toast. There is a nifty feature where one can rotate photos. You may want to try it out sometime. Nice post, I guess the key is to start them early. :wink2:

Uh yeah, but you have to cut a hole in your floorboard though to allow for the pedal to reach ludicrous speed. Outside of that its plug and play.
Simply no more lag when you want to go fast. It just removes response delays on your electronic accelerator pedal, that's all. Doesn't add HP, doesn't add TQ, may or may not effect MPG, but it does make driving fun again...YMMV.

Its GREAT! not flimsy at all! Takes a beating very well, i wheel the truck pretty hard and still holding up great. Would recommend it to everyone!

I will echo what [MENTION=176395]12Bravo4R[/MENTION] said. I've had the Pedal Commander on my car for 2 days and have noticed an immediate difference. I'm not one for mods when it comes to the engine/drivetrain (which this isn't) but thought I'd give it a try given the Mother's Day sale. And hey they have a 2 week return policy if you don't like it so I thought what the heck. You push the gas and it'll give it gas without the delay. There are a multitude of settings so it doesn't necessarily floor all the time either. You can adjust to however you like.
For instance I live in Park City where the elevation is around 6600ft and Salt Lake is around 4200 ft. Driving up Parleys Canyon on the I-80 is a perfect example where the 4R struggles and where the Pedal Commander made a world of difference. There are a lot of 18 wheelers on the I-80 and it can be a pretty dangerous drive since there's a lot of bends and curves. As well some drivers drive too fast and some drive way too slow on it. It's a pretty steep grade and typically to maintain my speed when climbing I either have to floor it or drop it down to 3rd gear. As any 4Runner owner knows when you drive up a mountain pass you really have to floor it and then there is a delay before it catches up. This can be frustrating and dangerous when you're trying pass vehicles or maintain speed. Then it lags back down to 4th or 5th gear and you have to floor it again. With the Pedal Commander it was just a smooth progression and I didn't have to floor it or downshift. When I wanted to go a little faster or maintain speed I just gave it a little gas. When I wanted to pass an 18 wheeler it did so with ease. It really made a big difference in driving up a mountain pass and given that I travel up and down Parley's Canyon a few times a week it's well worth it to me.
I was skeptical at first too and not a fan of any electronic wizardry but after that experience I'm a believer. There's pro's and con's with everything, it could be another doo-dad that breaks or fails which is why I was very hesitant to get it. Trust me it'll be the first device that goes if I experience any driving issues. But for now it's staying in the 4Runner and IMO should have been the way the 4Runner had been tuned in the first place. You don't have to take my word for it, buy it and give it a try. Return it if it doesn't suit you or if you don't notice a difference.

Actually a manual camera can take advantage of tilt shift lenses. You just need an interchangeable lens camera. Its not just digital or an effect. Canon make a great tilt shift lens, but it is pricey. Sorry Folks, I am going back on topic now. :focus:

Wow, just checked out their site...talk about sh*t-simple install.
I don't know about pulling dash stuffs out (my luck something would friggin' break) but I'm sure I could find somewhere to tuck it in under the dash and behind the console area though.

Maf calibrator only does A small ammount and only at WOT, the commander would probably be money better spent
