What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Thanks Joe! I'm thinking about putting a light bar behind the grill as well, but I know rigid and BD are pricey, plus I'll only use them when needed in the winter time, so I may look into auxbeams. What brackets are you using to mount them?

I used it a LOT this last winter. Like you said though, really no need for them this time of year!

Warning: The screws on the LED bar were wider than the opening on the brackets. I had to drill out the bracket to get it to fit, and didn't get it in the exact location on each. As such, it now points a little off to the left. If used on the highway it's pointing right at oncoming traffic in the distance ound:

Made a temporary fishing rod holder for a trip to the beach. Next year I'm making a nicer one based on what I've learned.

Installed RSG sliders and a pistol mount. Still have my radios (cb/ham) to install and hard wire my dash cam. Next month is BD fogs... The goes on and and on....

Removed both. Roof rack has two bolts under each end. And the mirror cover I just popped it out. Also super easy. Just start from the inner corner (closest to the window) and give it a good tug.

Yes, it is the no-rise front. Trying to keep as low as possible since my parking garage is 6' 8" max. I'll get a better photo at some point.

Did you place the order first, then when you confirmed you added the no rise option?
Or did you call GOBI ?
The website doesn’t have the no rise option, you’d think that as popular as it is that they would just add it to the website.
What was your wait time?

So let me be the first:

Took the runner & the kids to Home Depot to load up with some do-it-yourself closet systems.

Traded my VW Golf TDI for a 2018 4Runner SR5 Prem because parts are not available for it.
So far at 28 miles on the odometer, I am loving it!!
Only think so far I see is 1.) I was able to open windows to let out the heat with the key when I unlock the doors 2.) The doors stayed locked until I unlocked them.

Mod Trifecta

Today was a Mod trifecta. Admittedly, all three were rather low levels of difficulty.

Replaced the coat hooks in the cargo area with the FJ panel strikers (Part #58460-35012) - As suggested by many, including N2Advnture

Opened up the super secret wheel well storage space with the Harper7/Antman brute force method. Great place for storing my ratchet tie down straps.

First mod after running the 2014 TP in stock form since new, installed the Bilstein TRD Pro Kit today with Daystar isolators and Wheelers T13 rear springs today. Added new 275 KO2’s earlier in the week and it turned out nice, what a difference.
