Put a BlackVue 900S 2-CH dashcam in, super lovely package but not cheap.

Really easy and clean installation on our 4Runners when just running it out of a 12V socket, no parking mode or Cloud account, etc. Loosened the top bolt on the passenger A-pillar grip enough to lift the panel away a bit more for an easier and cleaner installation for both rear cam and power but otherwise it was pushbutton. BlackVue Viewer works on my old Nexus7. Still playing with configuration but really happy with my first premium dashcam.

If you are getting nearly 30mpg in a 4Runner with 285's, I'd suggest buying a lotto ticket.

No rubbing. My Nittos only had 18k on them but I’ve always ran KO2’s and just couldn’t wait any longer. The Nittos are going up on Craigslist.

Baja Flat Rack; probably no more than two inches over stock height with rails. This gain is mainly towards the front.

Looks great! How do you get those TRD offroad emblems? Are they just covers for the originals?

I like it. Used 16 gauge 1" tubing and 1/8" polycarbonate black for the wind fairing.
Powdercoated black with texture.

got rear hatch window motor replaced

Its been a problem since I bought the thing, 2 years ago. Dealer finally agreed to replace it. Phew, 34K miles, just under warranty.

(Edit to add I typed the above because the dealer assured me it was a simple fix, under warranty. It turns out the motor (about $640) appears fine, but the cable attached to it was all fouled up, probably due to all the dirt/dust in my tailgate. So they left the motor but replaced the window regulator (I think I heard about $120).

They added a note indicating "this is not a warranty concern and customer has been advised that this is an outside influence issue and Toyota will not cover it. Roseville Toyota will cover as a 1 time goodwill and will not be able to cover it in the future due to outside influence." WTF?

I pointed out to the service advisor that the vehicle was designed for this kind of use, and showed him the new catalog with all the shiny pictures of 4runners kicking up dirt. Did he mean that my 4runner wasn't intended for use on dirt roads? The advisor summoned the mechanic, who said, "I don't get why he inserted that bit on your invoice. That's wrong. You're just one of the 1% who actually use your vehicle in a manner for which it was designed."

I also pointed out that I had the vehicle in their shop when it was only 6 months old for the same issue. I've always been obsessive about not rolling it down when dirty. I am rolling solo 95% of the time, so dust from the vehicle ahead is rarely an issue. I still have 2K under warranty, and am considering my options. I also asked the mechanic if the thought this might arise to the level of a technical service bulletin. He replied, "maybe, but I don't know how you could fix it. You need the drain plugs in the bottom of the door for when water gets in from above."

Any opinions? Anyone else run into this?

That's what I thought as well. I know a couple people that are within the legal limit of tint and get pulled over all the time. I'd love to do mine, but I don't know if its worth the hassle of dealing with constantly getting pulled over.

Just broke 10K miles on the truck yesterday. Had to take a pic at all 9's and then on to 10K

Almost 11 months to the day since I bought it. The shorter work commute has definitely lessened my mileage a lot. Today we celebrated at the dealership for her 10K month service, free oil change and had them do the state inspection while it was there. Passed with flying colors, even my tail as turn, double reverse lights and smoked amber corners passed. Yay!
