Thanks! I was waffling on were to put it. I felt the knee board was a bad place with the airbag so close. Fits nicely and out of the way.

Watch that shrink tube resting on that battery hold down bolt. Won't take long to wear through and short and that's before the fuse. Results could be catastrophic.

Installed the center console organizer by Vehicle OCD. I put one in the 15 Limited and 18 SR5. No idea why I didn't do that sooner in the Limited.

Letters and emblems are solid--or mostly solid. They don't fit over the emblem they are a direct replacement. Most SR5 emblem overlays are kind of stuck together and have plastic between the letters--these are the exact same size as the chrome lettering and are "solid". The Toyota emblems have cross-bars across some of the emblem on the back--not hollow to fit over anything.

I think they just sent me the actual emblems instead of the overlays--ebay buyers( and there were a few) said how easy they were to stick on--nope.

OK so post a link to the auction. The ones I got were OEM Toyota and were installed in 5 minutes. They were super thin and hollow, fit right over the chrome and held in place with double sided tape. Sounds like maybe yours aren't OEM Toyota?

Here is the link--the price has changed to $267!!! I'm not an idiot and didn't pay that...I paid 67 with free shipping--good reviews from the buyers. I haven't been contacted by the seller. The pic shows how the SR5 isn't perfectly cut out, but mine is.

Nice set up! Curious, what is the Dry weight on your camper? I recently got a WolfPup 16BHS, dry weight 3000 w.out the rack on the back. I also got a weight distribution sway hitch.

What are your thoughts so far on towing that with your 4Runner? Lastly, how did you get the brake controller installed there? The dealer installed mine down by my right shin, I keep hitting it with my leg. Annoying.

I have last years Roscoe 8. Kept waffling back and forth between the Roscoe and the Fuel and have been very happy with my decision on the Roscoe!

I was also tempted to go in a little more for the fuel to get the rear susp. but ended up just wanting the simplicity of a hardtail. The Roscoe coming with a dropper was also a huge plus. Glad to hear you’re happy with it!

Thank you! I read great things about the Wolfpup. The local dealer sold KZ trailers so we purchased the E191BH Escape(also got good reviews). It’s dry weight is 3200 lbs I believe. We got the load leveling and a back up camera as well. I just got it so not much pulling yet. I’ve done a fair amount of towing and it feels just fine so far. My only complaint is lack of visibility but I have not mounted tow mirrors yet.

I did a little write up in the tech section I may redo it to make it easier to understand. I have concerns about mounting it at the knee board. First there is an air bag in the knee board so mounting anything there seems like a bad idea. Second there is not a ton of room down there so your legs are bound to hit it. Installing there was pretty simple. I removed the trim piece and cut a whole in the back of it. Then ran the wire to the whole and mounted the controller with Velcro. I’m happy with how it turned out. If I did it over I might put it in the empty spot above.

Interesting, I've never seen those before. Use painters tape to mark the current letters, take them off and replace them 1 at a time. Shouldn't be difficult to get them on there.

Drilled a huge hole in the fender. Hood opens full swing with sdhq brackets and BD squadrons. I cut the antenna but not sure how [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] got that to stay inplace back in the fender hole/grommet.

Got my Off-Road Permit in the mail today!! Installed rear/headliner cargo net system.

My girl is off road legal now...
Just a few more mods and additions and she'll be ready.
Installed cargo netting on the headliner and the sides of the cargo area to keep things organized and out of the way.

Any Rec's for skid plates- (besides the front) would be greatly appreciated. Also looking for fav air compressors and fav mounting locations.

...A Few More Interior Thingies!

...Howdy!

...These have been done over the last few weeks, so I saved them all up to post at once so as not to cram up the pages too much.....

...Finally figured out where to put my shovel and axe inside, as there are limited options with all the other stuff already in there....

...Using quick-fists, I mounted the shovel to the side wall...since I already removed the back seats...The metal clamp that held up the rear seat-back was a handy and secure place for a mount....( see pics below )...


...Not too sure how many of you will be able to use this next idea, but I have the sliding rear cargo-deck, so the axe found a new home on the deck itself next to my big gear-box....also mounted with quick-fists....

...( if ya try this, be careful NOT to drill thru the lock/release cables hidden in the deck....make small diameter exploratory drills first....or remove the two access-panels to see where the cables route thru...)....


...Finally, and by far the cheapest mod, was to replace the rear-hatch lights with much stronger-brighter ones!....link below:

...They are easy to replace....there are even vids online on how to do it!
