Drove up for one of the best openers at Mt Baldy they've had in years. The roads were actually pretty clear so didn't really need the truck. But the snow was all-time, my favorite skiing in southern California.

That is correct. I just slid the wires out of the harnesses that came with the relays and slipped them into the new box.

The relays have a tab on them for hard mounting, I just broke it off. When I have all of the pigtails wired up to the fuses and such, I am going to fill in the bottom with silicone to insure a good waterproof box. I am also going th o-ring the top and bottom of the box. This will require me making a 1.5mm grove all the way around it for the o-ring to sit in. It is a pita, but for less than $30 all said and done, you really can't beat it. Honestly, that may be a bit overboard, but I just like my electronics to stay nice and dry. I'll make a jig with 2x4 pieces of wood and sandwich the box inside of it. Then with the dremel fixed on a mount I will set it and slid the box through making a perfect grove all the way around.

I thought of that, but I've already got some stuff centrally located in the engine bay.

Finally got rid of my N-fab nerf bars and fabbed up and installed some real sliders. I'm happy with the way they came out. The wife though, not so happy with how big a step it is to get in the rig now. Oh well.

Need some advice on lifting my 2017 2wd 4runner

Hello all,

So I just recently purchased a 5th gen 4runner and I’m wanting to do some upgrading to it. (By the way it is 2wd) don’t dog me out for getting a 2wd is was the only option I could go with for now.

But I’m looking to put some 22x9 Chevy replica rims on it (also called snowflakes) with some 35” Enforcer M/T’s. I’m not very knowledgeable on lifts and spacers and spindles and such, so I’m really just looking for some advice on exactly what I need to do to make this happen. I don’t want to tear anything up so what all would I need to upgrade after lifting it? Control arms and things of that nature. Like I said I don’t know a lot about this kind of thing but I definitely want it to happen. Any advice would be appreciated!
