What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Hello all,

So I just recently purchased a 5th gen 4runner and I’m wanting to do some upgrading to it. (By the way it is 2wd) don’t dog me out for getting a 2wd is was the only option I could go with for now.

But I’m looking to put some 22x9 Chevy replica rims on it (also called snowflakes) with some 35” Enforcer M/T’s. I’m not very knowledgeable on lifts and spacers and spindles and such, so I’m really just looking for some advice on exactly what I need to do to make this happen. I don’t want to tear anything up so what all would I need to upgrade after lifting it? Control arms and things of that nature. Like I said I don’t know a lot about this kind of thing but I definitely want it to happen. Any advice would be appreciated!

No one is going to help you literally ruin your 4R like this. I would love to see pictures of these wheels though.

To sort of answer your question, 6" lift, body mount chop, bumper trim, hammer to your fender wells, gears, control arms, the list goes on. Send me the $10,000 rather than wasting it on this. If you're not building it yourself and paying a shop, add another $5000 for labor. You can send that to me too!

Do you have anymore information on your trailer? I'm not looking for a 100% off road trailer (yet), but I want something I can easily use for camp. This looks like the perfect solution!

Technically yesterday, but got to take it out and play in the snow for the first time. (Six inches counts as a blizzard here in South Carolina.)

I like the treatment on the front end. Is that a wrap or plasti-dip? Also - SCMountaineer - does this mean your a displaced West Virginian?

Eric, yes I am! Grew up in Beckley!
The front (and fender flares) are vinyl wrapped.
