What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

To be on topic. I did my spring detail on the truck. Interior detail, engine bay detail, washed and meguiars hybrid ceramic'd the exterior.

I just tried that wax for the first time. I applied it with a wet micro fiber cloth and then buffed with a clean on on a wet 4runner. At first I wasnt really impressed but now 5 days later the gloss and water beading are outstanding and the surface feels like glass. That was the easiest wax job I have ever put on her.

It holds up well over time too. I got two bottles from amazon because the first one was damaged during shipping. The first time, I applied it wrong. I didnt do the first application where you work it into the paint whilst drying but it still worked fairly well. I did not do any paint correction but it definitely helped with swirls. I took it on a trip and it was a breeze to clean off all the dust and silt that settled on the car. This second time I applied, I used a lot less product and I worked it into the paint after the wash. I'm pretty darn pleased with it. Its a $14 bottle that is readily available that does what it says its supposed to do. Does it actually have SiO2? Reports say not enough to register, but the bottle says "SiO2 Technology," not that it actually has SiO2, so if the spraywax behaves like ceramic, I'm all for it. Water sheets off fast and beading is consistent and really good.

Even though my office is next to a construction site and the superbloom in Cali thats wrecking havoc on everyones sinuses, I still get compliments in traffic. Surprises me all the time. There are pretty bad clearcoat scratches from desert pinstriping and my dog jumping out the of the window on each door panel but the Meguiar's really helped bring out the deep black shine.

Love these steps! Went with the 3in instead of the 2in so the bar can be closer to the truck. I feel like the 2in have too much space between them.

Efforts from the past few days. Major face lift with the [MENTION=80984]MT4X4[/MENTION] Fortress Bumper and [MENTION=87816]Baja Designs[/MENTION] lighting. Super happy with how it turned out but goodness was it a learning experiencing installing a metal bumper! Also it's clearly cherry blossom season in Portland.

TRD pro skid plate from the 40% off sale, this morning I taped off the lettering and used satin black rustoleum on the skid plate to keep with the black theme. I'll probably mount it later on this weekend or tomorrow

I have a Cherry Blossom tree in Beaverton and its all over my 4Runner. But the bumper looks good!

I didn't even realize there was a Facebook group. I had to look it up but love my neighbors and goodness do they have some nice cars. SUVs, trucks, and sports cars.

Nope. I didn’t want to sell my current set up of Kings and have to buy new ones for a LT set up plus axels and new fenders.

Figured these are much better than stock and an easier solution than LT.

So you are running 35" tires?
Do you have a thread that shows how you did this?

gotcha. makes sense. looks good! the TC LCAs are also on my list but the KDSS version. unless i decide to disable the KDSS in whole and go long travel.
