I know it’s piddly, but man does it make a difference in our car.

My wife keeps a bunch of stuff in that weird cubby in front of the rear cup holder.
We don’t keep the insert in there because we keep a hydro flask in that cup holder, so all the stuff was constantly sliding into the cup holder and I’d have to scoot it all up and then put away my drink. Anyways.

Went to the powdercoat shop to check out my C4 bumper that they received and match the samples to my SSO front bumper. So stoked. Check out the custom receiver they added to my single swing. Beautiful work!

Well after many close calls, last week was the deal sealer and I invested in a dash cam. Black Vue front and rear. The deal sealer was a lady who cut me off and when I honked at her she brake checked me 2-3 times. I went around her and admite I hit mine e brakes on her as well(not using good judgment). She flow and took pictures of me and I did of her as well. When i got home I called 311 to make a report they transferred me to 911 told them what had happened. Next thing I know cops are at my house they asked "you know why where here?" I said I called you, they told me no. The lady that had cut me off called 911 and said I pulled a GUN on her!! No I know dash cam won't show me inside the car but she said she didn't know why I had honked at her to begin with.

WTH people are nuts... what happened with the cops?

Where is the camera mounted in the rear?

Added the Rhino Pioneer fairing to knock down the wind noise. Made it worse! Looking at images I thought I could just place it more forward so the wind would go up and over the rack, you know “wind deflector” . Not possible with the design, it creates an under cut area in front that creates more noise. Terrible. I think wind noise should be addressed as a priority during roof rack development not an after thought. I have had racks with fairings for 30 years, the fairing always made a huge improvement. Guess I will have to design my own. Likely one that starts at the roof and goes up and over the rack to also provide wind deflection for stuff I will have on the rack, skis, RTT, etc.

The only other idea I had to salvage this purchase would be not to use the channel mounting and to take the arms and the mount and drill holes on the leading edge of the rack underside to mount them and get the fairing in front of the rack. This would require me to remove the rack, so not super excited about that option.

Nothing happened. They asked me the same questions over and over then left after finding out I call them as well. My wife was talking to 2 of the 4 cops and they told her its happens alot that people say there was a gun involved. I was so caught off guard I didn't even get the officers name. Want bothers me the most is that had I still been driving when They caught up to me I don't think they would have been very nice until they found out there wasn't a gun in the truck.

I put it on the headliner where the plastic fasteners are.

Finally installed a FrontRunner full length roof rack with the help of a friend! I reused the factory bolts from the stock roof rack and bought some stainless steel bolts for the front foot rails. I did not use the nutserts that were provided.

Just got this 19 TRD ORP two days ago and had to take it out and try all the things my 17 Tacoma TRD Sport didn't have. This T4R is awesome, like it a lot more than the taco.

Installed urethane bushings in front swaybar. The improvement was very apparent. I plan on doing a write up ince I have the rear installed and some seat time.

Edit to add...also got the rears installed and washed and waxed the rig.

Its an OEM part, it just plugs in, then snaps in.
