holly crap isnt towing capacity 4700lbs max ???
I was looking into a NoBo 19.8 bunk house which should push me to like 4800 with a hitchweight of 395 ... But decided on saving up for a used Super C and just pull my 4runner around.

Wind noise is minimal. Honestly I didn't notice it at all until I opened the shade on my sunroof and could hear a faint whooshing up there. No whistles or anything though. I Hope it stays quiet when I add the light bar.

Does your sunroof still open properly or did you move the crossbars?

That looks like a great set-up, should be fun.

Couple of things to note on these published weights. Dry weights usually do not include anything you put on the tongue like batteries and propane bottles, so those can increase those published numbers quickly.

Also with a single axle trailer they are more load sensitive than a double axle set-up, and you want the weight bias heavier on the hitch, which will also add to that hitch weight. When you do get underway on a trip a good first stop would be a CAT scale somewhere early along the way.

Fixed a lingering problem caused by a small mishap last year:

I can pop it back in place but it doesn't stay put very long, and I'm always worried it'll catch on something when I'm off-road. The cost to have it repaired is astronomical. So I came up with my own solution, using stainless steel sheet metal screws and washers:

It's not perfect but it works, and I like the way it looks -- kind of looks "tough".

Theres a 4runner defect. I have the same problem and never bumped anything. Toyota refused to fix it and try to say I hit something and pointed out tiny rock chips and say that was the culprit.

Thanks. The outside mirror covers are Toyota OEM. I ordered online from McGeorge Toyota, but any Toyota parts dealer of your choice should be able to get them.

I had my ICON's rebuilt by Brockton Auto Clinic in Riverside... picked it up this morning.

Oh how I miss what factory fresh ICONS felt like...

And I also installed my Center Console safe ... needed one because I have along road trip ahead. Need a place to store my valuables..

Best i can do is give numbers. Before the spacers it measured right at 17 15/16ths. Now it's sitting at 19 1/4.

Edit to add that I measured from the top of the center cap.

4700 or 5000 depending on what site you go by. That’s why I’ve added airbags and heavy duty brakes in addition to the proportional brake controller.

Should be enough to get me a few seasons, then maybe a pickup is in our future. Those EcoBoost’s look purdy.
