You go guy, I do use a torque wrench to put them back on. Where the socket gonna go?

You'd be surprised lol. When I bought my 2016 Tacoma brand new, the lift went under it a week later, 325 miles on it. Dumbass at the tire shop gouged all 4 wheels through the clear, through the paint, down to the aluminum. How? Who the hell knows. All I know is, the tire shop bought my 4 brand new wheels to replace all 4 that were gouged clearly by a socket getting away from the idiot with the impact gun. TO add insult to injury, he also broke 2 of the 4 TPMS sensors which they also paid for.

...During the last week, I made a new pal in a coyote-pup....and yesterday hiked on up to Palisades-Falls near Hyalite Lake to do some time-lapses and videos...so here be the pics:


...Pic-1: Palisades-Falls is in a box canyon with really phony looking cliffs, like they were carved out of styrofoam or wet clay..but it is quite tall ( 80-feet ), and impressive!...:jaw:

...Pic-2: Ya get an idea of scale by lookin at the folks at the bottom...tho they are actually a lot closer than the falls itself!..Easily 100~120 feet closer!

...Pic-3: The views around the falls are spectacular....tho all these loose, very sharp rocks will tear your ankles up if ya don't wear proper hiking shoes or boots...( and yet I still see idiots up here in flip-flops or heels?! )...Go figure!...:noidea:

...Pic-4: Hyalite-Lake is actually a reservoir, popular for year-round fishing, boating, skiing, etc...and at the lower part of this pic...ya can see it also has a gorgeous location for a campground...from tents to RVs....

...Pic-5: Just for comparison....this is what the falls looked like last Xmas-Day when I hiked up there....a bit quieter...and a LOT less people!...:thumb:

...Pic-6: This is the coyote-pup I met up with this last week...there is a pair of them, but this was the only one I saw....and it was quite relaxed about me being so close..hardly took any notice of me and my camera...:director:

The reservoir is the most accessable, but is about a 7 mile hike up and few thousand feet elevation gain from the Hyalite Creek Trail trailhead to Hyalite Lake up near Hyalite Peak. Arch and Champagne falls along the Hyalite Creek Trail is quite amazing if you get the chance to make it up there.

I replaced the the 12v port in the front and one of the other 12v ports in the rear center console with dual usb charging power outlets. They both have built in volt meter. I didn't really need the volt meter for the rear. But got both on sale during prime day and were the same price as ones that did not have the built in volt meter. So I figured why not. I also got my dash came hardwired as well.

..I do plan to hike up the trail to the other falls...just don't know when yet...at least this was the very first clear weekend we have had here without rain!

Where'd you get them? Seems like it'd be perfect for the cargo area port.

Used my Warn VR10 winch that is mounted on my T4R to pull a huge old air conditioner out of the back of a friend's pickup truck today.

Finally got a tracking info on my Eibach Pro Lift from Tire Rack.
Hope to install that in the next couple of weeks.

i feel you. i didn't bother to trim mine. the Toyota emblems are bad. The 4runner and SR5 are passable.

I just bought this Capstone rack from Amazon. Haven't gotten to transport my bike yet. Easy to assemble, seeing some flaws in the reviews but i can't comment on that yet. I do like how high it sits. Hitch has it's own bolt design where the more you tighten the bolt, it prevents the whole rack from rattling (my frist rack so I don't know if that's standard for most of them). For $108, I like it.

I looked at that one, I'm not big on the style where it clamps onto the frame. I'm keeping my eye out for a used one that clamps down on the tire. If I can't find anything I may go with this one and try to modify it for that flaw. How many feet does it stick out from the back bumper?
