What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I ordered H&R Lift springs 2" front/ 1" rear. I haven't read about anyone else using them and couldn't find any pics online. We shall see.

Link? H&R usually makes drop springs. I have never seen lift springs from them.

Pulled the trigger yesterday on a set of Shrockworks step sliders and a Cali Raised behind the grill light bar w/ mount.

Already have tracking numbers for both orders.

Ah, okay. So the better alignment angles make it so you feel more confident in regular driving situations? That makes sense. Always "fun" when you feel like your steering wheel has it's own plan...

more caster is what the aftermarket uppers help with. so less wandering

Yes, I am going for lifted comfort with this one. Will be happy to share the details. Expected to receive them 2-3 weeks due to special order. I kept going back to check on my back order of Eibach's and found them. So I canceled my order of the Eibach pro lift to try these out.

Turned 4,000 miles. I'll probably do the first oil change before 5,000 'cause I don't want to be doing it when it's 30 degrees out. Washed and waxed it so of course it's raining. Oh well.

With the Bilsteins @2.5" and no UCA, the truck kinda wandered a little bit. Particularly if there was a groove in the road - the truck would want to follow that line. It wasn't horrible, but it was something I noticed right away when I had them installed last year.

Now, that truck goes where you point it. I don't feel like I'm fighting against the road to go in a straight line. Wish I had done that from the start.

Got the hood wrapped (scoop delete - you can't see it from the cab anyway), at Beyond Wraps the other day ahead of the ditch lights and 40" light bar installation later this month.

How much did they charge to wrap the hood?

With al the stories I've read here about dealers screwing up skid plate bolts, breaking filter housing and and more there's no way the dealer will ever see my Runner unless it's a warranty issue.

I got 3 years toyotacare with my 2016. It has never been to the dealer for anything. Allowing oil change hacks to touch my truck is just not worth it. I'll do it myself. Do a little homework on here and read all the poor experiences with missing skid plates, stripped or broken bolts, leaks, over tightened oil filter housings. This is by no means limited to our vehicles, this is dealers in general.
