What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Did you run all the way to Saline Valley, or only part of it? I haven’t run the trail since I moved away from Big Pine 11.5 years ago.

I spent the night at Eureka Dunes and hit the trail at dawn. I ran the trail to the trail to warm springs and then down Saline Valley to Panamint springs. The 2 days I was there I did about 180 miles, which leaves me with only a few gallons in my tank. You should go back and run it, it's just down the road from you!

Just finished installing the Anytime full kit. I cheated my front camera to the passenger side because my SSO bull bar is in the way and also that's the really big blind spot when looking forward.

I went back to Death Valley to run Steel Pass!

How was Steel? In better shape than Lippincott? I'm still trying to plan a trip starting with Titus and ending through Cerro Gordo.

While swapping out the tinted turn signals, I alsoreplaced my Lasfit T10's with the Meso LED pods, and my God what a difference. The Lasfit T10 bulbs are great, and very very bright, but I couldn't believe the difference with the VLED pods from Meso.

Looks great. I've had my eye on those for a bit, I want to try to get their extended fuse box cover at the same time but they haven't refilled stock in a while.

Was the install easy? I know you did the turn signals at the same time (I probably won't). Wondering how hard it is to pry these things open.

(BTW, I’ve taken my mirror back covers off several times. I felt more comfortable doing it that way rather than the mirror pop-off technique).

Good to hear! Yeah still debating as these aren't really a "need" item. Maybe I can try to convince them to make a fuse cover batch if I order. I really like their custom third brake light options, wonder if they'd consider making one for runners...

Super easy, I've taken them apart 3 or 4 times now, it's really straight forward, and I was able to get the Meso parts to sit flush.

Here you go. In the third pic the yard stick is the actual side of the truck. I think I'm going to like the placement.

So I washed the 19 Limited today. It normally takes me about 2 to 2.5 hours. I know, that's a long time. I received foamer and sprayer. So today I decided to try something different.

1. Sprayed to remove easy stuff
2. Foamed with the Marolex foamer using carpro reset
3. Rinsed
4. Sprayed on Wolfgang Uber using .75 ounces in 1.75 liters of distilled water
5. Used several good microfiber towels to wipe off as to not give scratches, folding and changing towels as needed (Nautical Blue)
6. Went around and did touch ups
7. Used chemical guys V07 on the windows to clean

It took me less than one hour with identical, if not better results to wash. Tires were not included in this or the previous 2 to 2.5 hour time.

What did you use to protect it? Wax/sealant?
