True. I really only use them for every 10k maintenance. Have gone with others for tire rotation and other items or done myself. Timing cover gasket apparently does have a leak. I may have another shop check it out. Not sure how big an issue that is or if I could change it. I consider myself fairly capable with most DIY type items. Have never changed the fluids in my 4R myself, but I’m sure there are write ups on here. Would kinda like to do it on my own if it’s not too rough. Thanks for your feedback.

Timing cover gasket is A LOT of work. Whole front of the engine has to come apart and in some cases you have to drop or at least lower the oil pan as well. Not something you want to start unless you are 100% confident that you can finish the job.

Got home from Afghanistan last week and picked it up from ApexOverland. They transferred all the mods from my wrecked '17 TRD-ORP onto my "new to me" '19 TRD-Pro...

All that's left is for me to transfer my SSO sliders, FR roof rack, HIDs and sPod.

Although you're not wrong, something within the market, at least locally, has certainly changed.

A little over one year ago, I sold my 2016 4Runner Trail (non-premium) with 25,000 miles to Carvana for nearly $32,000.

They offered barely over $30k for my 2019 TRDOR Premium with 6000 miles. And that's about what the other offers are sitting at. Like you said, a "basically brand new" vehicle is worth less today than a three year old, less equipped but same vehicle was worth one year ago.

It may be temporary, but it's definitely a market change, and ain't nobody selling sub 30k mile, sub four year old Trail/TRDOR 4Runners for under $30,000 anywhere in this country.

It may seem like I'm complaining since this is the internet and that's what everyone assumes, but I'm merely pointing out an observation.

Some is seasonal and some is the giant auto loan bubble that's on the verge of imploding. People using debt to buy a depreciating asset.

These vehicles should really be bought for cash and kept for 20 years. If you want to swap cars every 2 years for whatever reasons?? you should be leasing.

Added the Morimoto XB headlights last night. In my opinion this is what the OEM headlight should have looked like.

Those look great! They should have had those for OEM!

To my knowledge they don't make taillights. I have the OEM tails

Visiting some friends in LA this weekend so I took advantage of the trip and took it to 88Rotors to get rid of the factory rake.

Decided to go with 2" struts in the front instead of the 3" and couldn't be happier with the results.

All in all it took about 30 mins and even got a t-shirt out of it.

There was a Tacoma at the same time I was getting Bilstein shocks a 3" lift and 285's.

Hope to upgrade to some General Grabbers in January.

Even found a stock 4Runner to park next to for a side by side

True, but I bought my 2018 SR5 with 22k miles for under $30k two months ago. To be clear, they wanted $3k+ more than that.

The only thing less than [$]30K is '17 or '18 that are well past warranty.

Mine still has 1.5 years of warranty left.

Wildpeak AT3W's seem to do really damn well in the snow while having great street manners. Added benefit that they're like 1/2 the cost of KO2s and still have aggressive aesthetics.

It took a couple of hours from start to finish. As others have stated, it almost takes as long to adjust them as it does to install. I was also being very picky on getting them perfect
