Sitting in corona isolation since I got back from Bahrain last night.. I was able to soundproof my doors. Was pretty straightforward. Except the rear door panels were an absolute ***** to put back on... cargo area (3rd row seating already removed) is done.

Got home from work and a few items had arrived a few days ago.
Oil filter cover tool & an oil filter. First oil change since I bought it coming up.
Also a windshield sun blocker thing. Needed here in the hottest part of AZ. It's a really good fit.

Neither, they're street-legal auxiliary high beams. Flood lights glare too much all over the road to be legal, and spots are too intense. These have a slight diffusion to the spot optic to make them spread a little more, slightly reducing their intensity to legal levels, and widen the pattern to see the road ahead instead of a spot way out.

Painted the black grill silver

Used some perfect match silver spray paint. Don't know if it's a "perfect" match, but it's the same paint I used on the artec bumper, so it all blends together nicely.

They're insanely bright, especially for their size. I'd say they're at least 1.5x brighter than the 9011 bulbs in my factory high beam reflectors, at a much lower power draw. I'm extremely happy with all of the Diode Dynamics stage series line (the bar on my roof is a 30" stage series from them, as well as yellow SS3 fog pods). Compact, good construction, excellent brightness and beam patterns, made in USA, and a fair price. Frankly, I think they give Baja Designs a run for the money on everything except the high-end dedicated racing lights.

I was looking at one of these too, I heard that there is quite a rattle from the slides when off-roading. Have you noticed anything?

I've been noticing a little squeaks and rattling coming out of it. Gonna play with it some more. Might be able to shim it some.
