Looks like a pretty clean cut. What did you use?

Just a dremel with a cutting disc. Sanded it down and then added rubber trim i bought off amazon.

Yikes! RIP oil filter housing and skid plate bolts.

I check everything under the hood and make sure center caps are accounted for while it’s in the pickup area right in front of all the service advisers desks. I’ve yet to have any issues with any of my Toyota’s (I’ve owned 10 Toyota 4WDs) after servicing.

We spend a lot of time camping or surfing (or both), and since I haven’t installed a rooftop awning yet, I made use of my rear hatch. Made a “Rear Hatch Awning” of sorts using some leftover Reflectix. I traced the shape and cut it out. Stays in there pretty good, and is removed when we’re ready to pack up and go.

Headed to one of the nearby national forests to test for rubbing with the 275s. No issues. Averaged 16.1 mpg over 160 road miles and 27mi in 4hi/lo.

Had the dealer do an oil change and tire rotation on the limited.

^This, make them fix the stripped bolts, usually filter housing and I've read some have body damage, stripped drain plugs etc.

Been a while, so I've got a few updates/upgrades to post about :fro:

First, finally got around to my stereo upgrade. Alpine ILX-W650 with my old Alpine KTP445U in-line amp, infinity reference 6x9 components in the front and 6.5s in the back door. Haven't done the hatch yet. Very pleased with the stereo etc so far.

Shortly after, replaced the license plate lights with some LEDs (Amazon.com: VIPMOTOZ Full LED License Plate Light Lamp Assembly Replacement For Toyota 4Runner Sequoia, 6000K Diamond White, 2-Pieces: Automotive), then replaced the rear hatch button that had melted into a fun, tarry substance. WTF is up with that????

Finally, got the running boards off a couple weeks ago and can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Love the look without the step.

Took her out to the LBJ Natl Grasslands today to finally get some good 4WD exercise and get a lil dirty in the rain. :dancin:
