What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I've owned my 2012 SR5 since Feb 14. First thing I did was upgrade the interior lights, backup lights and license plate light to LED. The next thing I did was add the mats to all the storage areas so stuff wouldn't rattle and slide around. After this I just kept on spending, AVS low profile bug guard on the hood, TRD CAI, Sprint Booster, then the 5100s with the front set at .85. Wheels and tires are next!

I love my hood scoop wrap, dark gray on my silver hood. I’ve never done vinyl so I let a pro shop do it. Excellent work.

Picked up 1,600 lb worth of vinyl flooring. She rides a whole lot differently with that much junk in the trunk!

Even after all that she still wasn't quite bottomed out. Looked like about 3 in from the bump stop [emoji108]

Man, you don't think it'll happen to you but in the blink of an eye, it happens. Unfortunately, I rear ended a VW SUV a week shy of 1 year since purchasing my dream truck. Dropped it off at the shop on April 1st and the initial estimate of $3,000+ quickly jumped to $12,000+ once it got properly inspected. New hood, headlights, bumper, grill, paint, etc. I'm having some other things taken care of since it's already there. 4/24 is the date it'll be ready for pick up. Counting the days suck especially right now but thankful to have my health as well my family and loved ones. Can't wait to post it when it's finally out of the shop. Definitely learned my lesson.

Damn I feel for ya. Glad no one was hurt though. The damage costs really do mount up when they take it apart and see all the underlying damage doesn't it? I hope you get her back soon. Be careful out there!

And she is a 2019 Touring with 10K on her now, and she's growing on me. Every Bell and whistle you can imagine and truly a fine car. I typically prefer the Outback (our '16 Limited was sold for this T4R), but honestly if I had to choose between a '20 OB or Forester, I think the Forester would get the pick. They seem to have put more attention and fine-tuned it a bit more. The one thing the OB has on it now for the first time in many years is Turbo! But only select trims, and you pay handsomely. Anyway, yes, Forester is a great addition to our family!

Still have the temp tags on and I just added my Burtman 2.5/2" spacer lift kit myself yesterday! Love the look, will have to get used to the slightly stiffer ride. Bigger tires are next!

Same as ours. I feel pretty much the same about the Forester. It could have more power but it's not horrible. It takes some time to get used to the CVT and the weird, fake shift points they program into it but it gets pretty good mileage, is comfortable and pretty much as reliable as a Toyota. We're just below 10K too. Almost time for the second oil change and I actually enjoy changing the oil since the filter is right on top of the engine!

Used it to tow utility trailer W/Branches from that GD:yell::frusty: Weeping Willow tree. I know hardly can see $runner. The picture is for a looker at buying the trailer, wanted to see tilt in use, BUT there IS my 4Runner in the Pic. Gotta count eh!?:humble:
I still don't understand why some of my uploads are oriented correct & some are 90 off???

Finally got my new headlights in. I went with the XD Extreme LED Pros in the low and hi beams. I know there are a million posts on going with HIDs over LEDs but these worked for me and are noticeably brighter than the stock halogens, I like the color a lot and they match pretty well with my LED fogs.

It did take me a while to get the clocking correct though, right out of the box I could tell an issue with the beam pattern (second pic, hard to see in the daylight) but I finally got both bulbs correctly aligned in the housing.

Pretty happy overall.

I took my HIDs out and installed the same. Very pleased.

Got my Long Range America 33 gallon aux. fuel tank installed. Had it powder coated prior to install. Don't ask me about pricing, because if you have to ask...you certainly can't afford it (spending my kids inheritance)!
