What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Pioneer dmh wt8600nex installed. Does block the bottom 1/3 of both vents. So far everything seem to be working ok. brake by- pass didn't work, but found seller on ebay who sells by-pass wiring for the 2020 pioneer radios. Will update. Yes i know it sucks blocking the ac vents and I DO live in Houston,TX but my god look at that screen!!!!

Neat! I'll be interested to see if you have overheating problems when you run the heater.

Easy, only use the floor vents during the winter.

Big ol Pioneer display looks great. I checked and it looks like that unit runs at 1080i resolution which was a complaint about some of the early Alpine units like that.

I’m curious what the back-up camera looks like on that jumbotron. Any feedback on the responsiveness of the touch inputs?

The improvements in brightness you're seeing are real. These dumb LED bulbs are often brighter. The problem is that you've shifted all of the light closer to you, limiting your ability to see further down the road. Headlights are designed to bring objects from the dark periphery gently into illumination from far away, so you can anticipate and react to road conditions. This is especially important at highway speeds. What you have now is a huge splash of light thirty feet in front of the truck, and by the time you see the deer in the road it'll be too late. Again, the problem is not brightness- it's focus.

I agree. Brighten up your foreground too much and your pupils will constrict as if it were daytime, compromising your low light and distance vision.

As an old fart from the days of dull yellow sealed beams, I think my 4Runner’s OEM light output is just fine. On long lonely dirt roads on my routine travels, I’d like a bit more, so will probably do the halogen bulb swap.

Got my first paint chip opening my trunk in the garage and it hit my garage door. Not used to having a vehicle this tall. Anyway I looked online and most recommend Dr. Color chip. Applied first coat today and am pleased with the results. When you are close enough you can tell the little divot is there but color matches perfectly. From a few feet away is very hard to tell. I might try to add a few more coats to fill in the divot more.

Finally installed the front valence on my SR5. Also plastidipped the roof rack in black cause the silver was driving me crazy. Did some front bumper trimming too.
