I have seen this thread over at the 3rd gen & 4th gen forums on here and thought it was a cool idea.

So let me be the first:

Took the runner & the kids to Home Depot to load up with some do-it-yourself closet systems.

Anybody else?

Cleaned up the trail edition after a lake trip. Had this vehicle 3 weeks and can't stop going into the wilderness with it, so much fun! Oh, added an Nfab roof rack before camping, it worked out pretty good. Added a bug deflector upon returning, now thinking about the next cool option!

Got my SS3 Pro Fogs a little early and got them installed. Thanks Diode Dynamics. Frosty beverages are recommended for the install. My only disappointment was that it made my 4500k HIDs look a little yellow...fudgeeeee….. oh well. the fogs are great though, aimed them all the way down and they are awesome.

You should get the selective yellow versions and swap in clear optics for a 4000K warm white. Or just stick with the yellow.

Lots of new stuff n things this week. Picked up my 4Runner from getting regeared at 4.56.. had an issue with the shimming, so it went back to get redone. Also got my tires rebalanced with some new Road forced balancer. Icon 2” rear springs plus Icon 2.5VS RR shocks.

First off, regearing could be my absolute fav thing I’ve done to any vehicle. It’s like a totally new vehicle. Rebalancing my tires plus the icons (had 5100’s) has this thing driving like a dream. Now to replenish my bank account... lol.

Had my ceramic coated Pro washed for the first time in 4 months. Came out just like when it was done 19 months ago. Also, stepped up from BFG KO2 275/70-17's E load, to 285/70-17 Falken Wildpeaks AT3W SL rated.

I’ve got the Ellis shift knobs as well and have had them for almost 2 years in the Carolina heat. They do get pretty warm but not untouchably hot if that makes sense? For me it’s no big deal as I get in, put it in drive and go, it’s not a manual.

I’ve had manual cars before and I can say I’d not put something like this in it that I’d be shifting.

Went mountain biking this morning and am planning on camping this weekend. Love this rig! Also threw 275/70R17 KO2s on yesterday, and I’m loving the new stance and shoes.

So what did it cost you I need to get mine done.

Just put ceramic tint all the way around (including Windshield and Sunroof). I bought the below:



Autobahn Ceramic i3 - 15% on all back windows

Autobahn Ceramic i3 - 33% on driver and passenger window + sunroof

Autobahn Air Ceramic 80 - Windshield



Can already tell a big difference in the interior cabin temperature and it’s really a must have here in Texas.

Just wanted a mild lift so finished installing OME 883 up front and T13's in the rear with 5100's on all four corners.

Took it to my favorite suspension settling spot and bounced around for 30 minutes or so. The net result...settled to 1.5 inches on each corner so far. It definitely needs the 10mm spacer though. Guess it's time to give Wheeler's a little more money!

Got around to installing some Victory 4x4 Molle Panels on my '16Trail.

I haven't figured out the bags, setup, and attachments I want yet, but I am pleased to have some extra tie-down points for relatively lightweight items - and do not feel like I am sacrificing visibility.
