After much research, ordering, delays, and 3 days of wrenching on this thing I finally upgraded my suspension, wheels and tires.
- Bilstein 6112’s up front, 5160’s in the rear. Clips 7 and 5 driver and passenger respectively.
- Icon Delta Joint tubular UCA’s.
- Fuel Nitro 6
- Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70’s load range C.
Best of the side stories include having to get creative because my spring compressors ended up not fitting, having to repair my air impact wrench, and cross threading a new strut. Oof!

Did a solo run to Gallagher Head Lake. Only ended up with a crushed tailpipe as I was sending the 4Runner at times. Good excuse to cut the end off now.

Today I installed a Quickfist in the glove box to hold a flashlight...
...and relocated my two way radio from a very subpar posable aluminum RAM mount to a not bouncy at all steel RAM mount affixed to the HVAC controls bezel.
As you can see my leg easily clears the radio and so does my coffee cup. The antenna lead looks like it obscures the fan control but thanks to Toyota's fetish for giant knobs (heh) it's easily accessible. So is my coffee cup in the forward cup holder. I can even read the radio's display at a glance.
In case anyone's curious that is a Baofeng UV-82 which is capable of receiving and transmitting on two different frequencies which is handy when you're in a large group and want to have a side conversation with your friends and not step all over the larger net.

RCI rails (Line-x'd) installed last week and Prinsu rack installed yesterday along with a heritage badge on the grill. I'm probably done for a while until we get through the holidays. I think next i'd like to do an amber fog upgrade (Baja probably), as well as some rear window panels for gear organization.

No, I only put it on prior to trips. Some people leave them on for a while, but since I don't park in a garage, i don't feel comfortable leaving it on for an extended period of time due to the sun exposure.
The trim (plastic piece) is factory, i just removed the 4runner badge and painted it. The "toyota" letters are from tufskinz.
