While less versatile, has anyone measured to see if a twin boxspring & mattress would just fit? probably too tall together (though I know they make low profile versions of each). Could be a nice "non-permanent" solution too.
What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I'm sure it would fit but you wouldn't have much headroom at all. Ditch the box spring and you'd have plenty of room. A low profile cot would be another good non-permanent option.

Does the part that goes over the back seat fold up and back when not in use?

The whole platform is in 2 pieces. The back piece alone fits with the back seats upright and in place. I plan to just leave the back platform piece in the back for good. The front piece is easily removable but it doesn't really fold onto the very back platform piece very well. I've utilized the cargo area tie down hooks and have turnbuckles holding both platform pieces in place. I'm a little taller so the seat bottoms have been removed and I'll leave them out until camping season is over. This setup probably isn't the most practical if you need use of your back seats. I've seen better setups that fold up and store nicer than this one but those people obviously knew what they were doing. I was just kind of winging it!

LOL...that's what I said. So when the dealer tried to blame the "aftermarket" parts.....I said...OK, I will be back.
I pretty much had to do all the diagnosis, and even had to inform them about the TSB.
Really? I love the rear liner. Much better coverage than the Weathertech unit and cheaper as well. I got mine soaked with wet camping gear this weekend and it didn't leak a bit.

I just repaired one of those with the Permatex windshield repair kit. Worked really good, it's almost invisible now and should not crack any further. Sorry, no pics.

I was bored, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money or mess with the suspension travel of the factory Fox struts... so I put a 1/2" "lift" on my rig.
Front L/R: 1/4" Toytec spacers
Rear L: 20mm OME spacer
Rear R: 10mm OME spacer
10" of ground clearance!

Should be standard hardware on the offroad models.
Sure miss the one that was on my FJ Cruiser!

Its like the one pictured in my 2013 FJ Cruiser in the above post, if I'm not mistaken.
The function and fit was way overlooked.
Probably won’t need it once I do my cargo riser anyway.

Productive rainy day. May not look like much, but it’s clean and organized. First aid kit, 100’ paracord, folding knife, fixed knife, 5 ratchet straps, good flashlight, camp axe, fire extinguisher, compressor, tire plug kit, multi bit screwdriver, metric ratcheting wrench set, multiple pairs of gloves, recovery rope, recovery strap, tire deflator, tire gauge, and traction boards. Best part, no rattling crap in the back
