I used radar cruise control in my 2020 for the first time today. It was my first time (intentionally) using cruise control of any kind. It worked very well once I figured out how to set my speed. I read the manual last night, but the interface is just weird in general. I actually got to speed setting kind of by accident. After getting radar cruise started, I was able to easily set the following distance to the longest with the dedicated button for it in the lower right of the steering wheel. The truck detected vehicles in front of me very well, held speed very well, and all around worked very well. I couldn't see myself using regular old cruise control, but this radar cruise control is pretty good. My MPGs were great, too. 20.3, maybe 20.4. I'll be using it again next time I'm on a big highway without a lot of traffic lights.

I also had a passenger today :lmao:

I ordered a prinsu roof rack so I tried to remove my bucket roof rack but instead I stripped the hell out of 2 bolts and now can't get them out. FML

Going camping soon. So, been buying a bunch of new gear to replace either worn out, broken, sold or lost items from camp days past. Mostly packed but still have a ways to go before we leave.

You have to hold the bottom portion with pliers from inside after prying the headliner. Its not that hard. You will need new bolts that goes from inside. I saw the pictures in some other post and was very careful to remove the factory bolts 1/2 turn each side at a time. I had no issue, but it was took forever to take 8 bolts out.

• Which base mount did you go with? Simple ball mount or diamond plate alternative?
• Are you using the iPhone with magsafe? Looks like that requires some metal trips to be installed inside the case.

Diamond plate alternative.
No MagSafe. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max in a Pitaka Case (has metal tabs built into the case but maintains wireless charge capability).

Removed XREAS and installed Bilstein 5100

Found a local workshop, guy removed XREAS shocks, and installed Bilstein 5100 in my 2013 limited. Ride is pretty good now. XREAS shocks were leaking. He did not remove the whole XREAS fitting. I will be doing it today. Any tips and suggestions on it?
He charged me $400.

Replaced the Dunlop's with Falken Rubitrek's (stock size), also modified the center caps by removing the Toyota emblems, painting the satin trim ring black and adding 60mm domed TRD emblems.

I made a cover out of some 14ga steel. Just a 1/4 turn of the handle and it pops right out. In the next few weeks I'll work on one for the upper part.

Finished upgrading the dash, front and rear door speakers to Infinity Reference series, next weekend is the back hatch speakers.
Also used killmat to sound deaden each door, the doors feel heavier and latch more positive.

Where did you get that latch? I did something similar but haven't found a latch I like. This looks like it might work for me.
