What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I know what you mean. Those bigass heavy bulbs need assistance to stay in the socket. First I make sure the socket brass prongs are squeezed together to grip it as much as possible. Insert the bulb, then on the exterior of the bulb base, bridge it to the socket base with a small dab of a thick adhesive like shoe goo or clear E6000 hobby glue. Don’t let any glue sneak into the socket. Let it dry before inserting the assembly back into the tail light housing.

I have some amber stick on lenses for my fog lights. I want to add their LED Fog light bulbs and figured I'd try these backup lights 1st to see what the quality is like. Still debating.

Added some smoked wrap to the bottom half of the tail lights on my wifes 4runner. Also in the last few months we’ve done Motegi MR150 wheels, the LFD cross bars for the factory rack and blacked out all the chrome using plastidip on some things and flat black wrap on others.

I did a chalk test on my new P285 70r17 Toyo ATiii tires. They put 41 pounds, I lessened to 36 pounds but the chalk test said 32 pounds, which is the door jam numbers. I haven't driven with 32 pounds but I'm sure it will be fine. I will tell you I thought they drove great with 36 pounds.

threw some 285/70 duratracs, fit with minor liner rub, fixed with heat gun.

went to Great Sand Dunes Nat Park, headed up through San Isabel Nat forest,,,,snow at higher elevations and forest road gate closures made me turn south. Picked way through New Mexico and ended up in Roswell.
