Came down on the rock too fast. If you’ve seen the obstacle in person it makes perfect sense. Also when you cut the bumper you get rid of a few of the mounting screws. Normally it would be mounted along the bottom and you would just scrape the hell out of it. But in this case it bent all the way back. It went back on fine tho

Today I noticed that the skid plate came loose and when I went to tighten it it felt like the bolt was stripped. I finally got it off and found the the bolt that’s welded into the frame for mounting the skid has broken off leaving no where to mount the skid [emoji15]

Let me know next time you come up to Missouri. We need to hit some trails together.
Mark Twain National Forest - Glade Top trail is 20 minutes from my house. Dispersed Camping is legal and the trails are not that bad as some I've seen you go on previously.
I'm sure I can get some others to join us if you come up here on a weekend. Otherwise I'm enjoying early retirement and can do weekday trips.

She comes home and says “hey I got beeped at and a wave from another person driving a 4-runner.” [emoji41]
She proceeds to say “how cool is that!?
Then She notes She was following them earlier and was staring at their rooftop tent.
“We really need one of those honey!”

Definitely will do. Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and the Dakotas are the next few states we’ll be in then we have to figure out winter

Installed new 285/70/17 Maxxis Razr At tires last week. I’ve always been a BFG fan but I thought I’d try something different. Went from a LT265/70/17 ATKO2 C load to the P285/70/17. I saved 4 lbs. per corner. My mpg has increased a little over the first 500 miles with these tires. These are a fairly new tire from Maxxis. No rubbing with these. I’m running a 2” lift with aftermarket UCA at 4.7 caster.

Got under the truck to find out what was rubbing up in the front passenger wheel area. Turned out that my front passenger Overland Customs Design bar end link had loosened up. Tightened that up and installed new sway bar bushings while I was down there. The end link loosening definitely impacted my steering control, so that's something to file away in case it happens again.
And I put in an order for a C4 Lo Pro winch bumper. Going to roadtrip and pick it up and see the Black Hills and surrounding scenery.

Installed the R1 Concepts Slotted Rotors and Off-road pads
I don't need sliders for the grocery trips but I sure would like to have some. Looks great.Slider install today. Bed liner plugged up some holes and made it harder than it should have been, but they ended up great.

Mall-crawling is one of the best applications for sliders: jackasses that park next to you ding their doors on the sliders instead of your vehicle.
I always forget that.
