We put 2,000+ miles on the 4runner this weekend over the course of 4 days. We visited northern Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho.

Stopped at Mountain Home Air Force Base and got a pic with some equipment I use to work on.

The first thing I wanted to change as soon as I got my new TRD ORP was the damn shift knob. Maybe I'm in the minority, but it'd terrible -- too big and a weird shape. Enter Ellis Precision...and what a big improvement. Next on the list is tires on Friday.

A few days ago I was closing the rear hatch and heard something rattling around in there. I figured it was one of the nuts holding the garnish plate on so today I took off the inside panel and sure enough the nut on the driver's side was off. It had to be that one 'cause it's the hardest to get to. I put it back on and tightened everything in there. Not a bad job but it's about 90% humidity today so that made it fun!

Show us more pics of your Inferno Orange Pro, which, IMO is still the nicest special Pro color. Excluding black, of course.

You can never go wrong with black. My previous 1st and 2nd gen 4runners were both black. Right now, my Inferno Orange Pro is getting a Prinsu rack and a Coastal Offroad dual swing hitch rear bumper in preparation fro a cross-country from Oklahoma to Cali and back. I'll be going through the Flagstaff area on the way there and going through Moab on the way back. I will have some bad a** pictures when I return and will certainly post them here!

I'm from Canada, but every time I stumble upon pictures of Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado I am stunned. Some absolutely beautiful scenery in those states!

Installed the cali-raised ditch light brackets with some ProComp pods. Also threw a storage box on the rack!

Swapped out rear springs. Went from a Dobinson C59-701v to the C59-677v. I just did not have the weight for the 701s. Had to disconnect the driver upper trailing arm to get the spring to seat correctly. It was hitting the fuel tank. What a pain in the A$$ getting that reattached. Rides much better now.

Drop the factory spare, pull it out, slide in the 17x8 with 285/70 Nitto, winch it up with the factory equipment, then forget it.

That's pretty much what was required on my '19 ORP. Now that I've got a rear tire carrier coming, I'll be fabbing up mounts for a 6gal air tank in that location.

Repeated a trip from a few years ago. Went to a volcano crater that is being mined for cinders by the highway department. Easy drive, looks like the beginnings of a colony on Mars. Backed part way up the big hill for a photo.

installed 30in BD s8 on my 2020 venture then Big Bear with the fam. (don't worry, i flipped the front plates of the lightbar .. out the box the connector comes out of the right of the housing.)

Mods in pending production:
Prototyped full roof rack from my cousin's shop (who knows when they get the steel to make it; they focus on silicone hoses- i have one of their prototype air intake silicone hoses under my hood; they're jumping into the fabrication game starting with strut bars for performance vehicles)
