Cleaned the windshield

Did a deep clean on the front and rear windshilds, sprayed on some Rain-X and put on new Bosch Icon wiper blades to prepare for the snow and sleet.

Busy second day with the new 4R. Had a Compustar remote start installed. Also got the OCD glovebox organizer. Then installed the Lockerdown console safe. Immediately noticed something different. The lid is resting on top of the box instead of inside the cutout. Definitely seems like prying it open would be easier now. I'm guessing it was a cost saving move by Lockerdown. I'm not sure it makes any difference.

So I got my remote start installed yesterday and then I got an email today from Toyota saying "Warm up your 4R with Remote Connect". I was thinking "damn did I have remote start and not know it". Then I scrolled down and saw it said reactivate service for my 2020 4 Runner. Just making sure the 2022 SR5 Premium does not have remote start correct??

Sweet! how bad was the pulling off the Mirror? Really been interested in replacing these, especially with everything else changed to LED already. From the videos I've seen, the removal looked kinda sketchy to me.

Didn’t touch the mirror! If you pry from the front side of the mirror, starting near the window, the cover pops off. Then it’s moving the yellow wires aside. After that, you’ll have pry the lower plastic away. (Googled it) Puddle Light LED Conversion! - YouTube

Only thing I did different was actually unscrewing the housing holding the bulb just to keep the tension off the small wires. In the video I linked he really doesn’t go into detail about that…After that it was just reassembling it all.

It's really easy. The mirror glass itself has clips on the back and just pops out. There's a couple screws behind it. Then you just pull the top painted plastic piece away and the lower plastic piece away to get to the bulb. No more than 10 minutes per side and an easy and worthy upgrade. I used the VLEDs from Amazon.

Bought this ‘21 Limited at MSRP couple weeks ago and yesterday installed Revtek 432X lift/level and added 275/60R20 Wildpeaks. Very slight rub in reverse with wheels full turn, but so minor I likely will not trim liner. Ordered N-Fab steps.

I did this exact setup on my ‘16 Limited but had 285/55R20 then. That size apparently is no longer available in Wildpeaks so I went with 33” size above and like it better.

I had Les Schwab (local tire chain) order and install all of these items. Nothing else needed to align and I love it! They later took a heat gun to the wheel well liner because it was that minor rubbing with this size tire. This set up looks way better than the previous one I had with the same factory size Wildpeaks.

Thanks so much. Looking at 275/55, but am good with doing the heat gun if necessary - hopefully not.

Not too shabby with the yellow backplate on a prinsu fairing and the new 40 inch lasfit lightbar... Now just need my lamin-x yellow film so the carpet will match the drapes.

I notice your front fairing does not touch the paint. Did you do that on purpose?

I’ve been curious about that and was wondering if I should mount mine a little higher like yours to protect the paint.

Yeah, I mounted it higher, because I don't want the fairing to touch at all. After mobbing the vehicle offroad, all that dirt and dust will act like sand paper on anything that rubs the paint. I just moved it up one mounting hole. That area is so dang dirty, pretty much all the time (as per the pics).

I'm not sure if it will increase wind noise. However, this roof rack fairing/led light bar is replacing a dual 42 inch LED light bar that sat in front of the fairing, which made alot of noise.

i had mine mointed lower and moved it up when it started to rub the roof randomly. no change in noise.

Removed my mudflaps and some weird plastic piece in front of the rear wheels. Added the Revtek rear mud flap delete pieces. Funny that I have removed more than I have added so far.

Also got rid of the chrome strip with some black overlays from Amazon. I would rather have this grill, but not at the money they are asking.
