Took the wife out to Sam Houston National Forest to test out the new camping set up.

Tent is the overland vehicle systems nomadic 3. mounted on a LFD 3/4 rack (Which was a total PITA by the way)

I also picked up an ironman4x4 camping light as to avoid tripping over everything in the campsite once it got dark.

I also purchased a Ecoflow river max plus power station so i could make my tea, and power said camp light. Dont hate on the extreme length i go to for making tea... im English, i need my tea!!

Weather got down to 30°F during the night. Tent did a fantastic job at insulating as compared to the regular crappy nylon tents, We did put the comforter from the bed at home over the the mattress in the tent, and with our sleeping bags we were snug as a bug!

Long story short. freaking loved it. Cant wait for the next trip!

Upper grill light bar mount on the cheap...

Wanted to add some DD SSC2 amber backlit pods to my upper grill. Looking at light mount options and could not believe the price of some and lack of many to boot. So I got my thinking cap on and here is what I came up with:
Zinc coated mount cut in half with angle grinder, drill a couple holes and Viola!
Its not wearing the tux at the dance but it gets the job done and is secure enough to not have vibration (on road at least).
Bracket came from Menards home center in this case but can be ordered online or found in most home stores. Aluminum bar is 1/8" but can be upped to 1/4" to ensure no shimmy.
All bolts are SS and 5/16" with lock nuts and flat washers. Can of black spray paint to hide the shiny pieces. (I did wipe all down with alcohol prior to paint)
Works well and cost about $25 total with 30 mins or work.

LOL i was wondering about that with the PG tips comment. but the "Bruv" sealed the deal. hahaha.

And my wife manages 3 smoke shops down here in Texas. So i know ALL about the D8 stuff. My house looks like im a primo dealer with all the D8 flower we weigh out for the stores. probably got close to 10lbs of the stuff right now waiting to be bagged up, or separated to use as pre-rolls. We even got a new machine that rolls them for us

I'm in Iredell County and does require emissions inspection. DMV said I didn't have to get it inspected until next year.

Installed some LED headlights & fog lights-then adjusted them to make sure I wouldn’t be blinding oncoming drivers. Waiting on my suspension to come in, and that’ll go on. And then….. measure-trim/cut everything to fit 35’s

One year old

My 2021 SR5 Premium is one year old today (well, it was made in January but I got it in March 2021. Washed her really well by hand for her birthday!

Swapped out the puddle lights with some LEDs I had laying around and installed a Borla cat back system. It's not as loud as I had hoped or thought it would be, but it's got a little growl to it. Maybe it needs some time to break in.

Brutus goes to Death Valley Nat'l Park

Drove to Barker Ranch from Ballarat. The ghost town, the ranch and views are cool. The road over Mengel pass is NOT. It's an all day affair.
