Looks great! I love this Nautical Blue and I'm glad I held out 'till I found one. When it's clean it really pops but yeah it's almost as bad as black to keep clean.
I wasn’t looking for this color initially but I’m glad I came across it! But yes, not much better than black….

TRD exhaust? There is one locally near me and Im tempted but dont want the drone sound
FWIW, my ORP came with the TRD exhaust and I was of the same mindset. Prior vehicle was a 21 Outback Turbo XT, with a Nameless Performance exhaust. While it drove like a WRX wagon, the drone killed me and I sold the car. Wasn’t excited about TRD exhaust and even looked at trading for stock with a local friend. A couple months later and I loved the TRD exhaust. It sounds good, adds just enough, but I don’t think the drone is an issue, especially once you get used to it.
If the one local to you is a good deal, maybe considering giving it a try. You could always go back to stock and I’m sure the TRD would be an easy sale if you don’t like it.
Just to piggyback off of hoppyjr, I’d say go for it. I installed it the other day and I love the sound. It definitely comes alive when you dig in to the pedal but I can see it being a nuisance on a long climb. It doesn’t seem to have much drone. I tested it on the freeway cruising at 80mph and the wind noise was louder than the exhaust. Around 2k rpms it cruises and doesn’t make much sound.

I may consider it, a year ago I installed the TRD intake and its not horrible.
Installed bilstein 5100 rear shocks yesterday, took about 45 minutes start to finish. The ratcheting wrench is a MUST on this install! Also having a spare jack does help as well.
Next project will probably be an amp to power the speakers

Mounted my KC LED Slimlights back on the front bumper, but this time hanging from the center of the heritage grille. My friend made some metal backing plates, which provide stability from the inside of the bumper, behind the “TOYOTA”
Prior mounting to bumper resulted in extremely limited adjustability, rendering them ineffective. This new hanging mount allows plenty of adjustment and I think even looks better.
Wired to my last open circuit on the SwitchPro controller.
Also installed the Redarc Elite trailer brake controller, but the Toyota sized switch insert doesn’t arrive until Sunday.

oil change and wash.
also KDSS reminder= drop the 2 12mm bolts holding the skid plate for the kdss stuff on the driver side frame rail. give it a good cleaning. itll hold mud and crap like none other. i had sand and seashells in there from 2 years ago.

Installed a couple of things, one useful, one a bit more cosmetic-
I installed a dual USB plug in my center console. The 4Runner sorely lacks some USB plugs and the one provided in the front dash for audio input can charge, but is woefully low powered. I've been using the cigarette lighter and eyeing the two blank buttons in my center console so I finally bought a dual USB plug and installed it-
I tapped electrical off the dash cigarette/12v and ran the wires inside the console to the button blank. I had to fiddle with and replace a faulty connector the plug came with, but it works now and I am pleased. Note the rubber flap to keep crap out of the plugs (not like I let the inside get dirty or anything...).
In the back I also installed something a bit unnecessary but I just liked the idea. It's a cover for the rear passenger storage compartment near the back hatch-
Before (note the metal latch catch already installed in the top center of the space).
After.
It's a nifty little add-on that cleans up the back. The large cover pops off with a press of a button, and the lower one can be popped out from the inside. I'm happy.
On the other side of things that matter- I recently got a new battery, 4 new Cooper Discoverer tires, and got a full engine tune up and sway bar links and bushings (the bushings were gone...). Soon will be a full deep clean and detail and she'll be lookin' pretty good out there again.

Replace transmission fluid pan. Changed gear shift indicator light bulb.

Got the Victory gas tank skid in on Friday and got it installed last night. I ordered it mid-March. Call it 8 weeks or so. Easy install. The OE one took a few hits last time out and is horribly thin. Better to replace it before it's an issue and Victory had the tax sale.
